Description
Claims (6)
- 1.瞬時入力信号に応答して対応する対数値を表わす出力信号を与える対数コン バータであって、該コンバータの性能が少なくとも一部において対数インターセ プト値および対数スロープを特徴とする対数コンバータにおいて、a.各々が、 (i)入出力を有するトランジスタ増幅器と、(ii)全波検出器と を有する複数の利得段と、 b.入力において入力信号を受取るように接続された第1の増幅器と、c.入力 において前記増幅器の別のものからの出力を受取るように接続された他の各増幅 器とを設け、 d.前記全波検出器の各々が電流出力を与え、該検出器の全ての電流出力が加算 されて前記コンバータ出力を生じ、 e.各増幅器と関連して、該増幅器の利得を増幅器トランジスタの温度変動およ び製造公差に対して実質的に不感応にさせる安定化手段を設けてなることを特徴 とする対数コンバータ。
- 2.前記トランジスタ増幅器がテール電流によりバイアスされる差動増幅器であ り、前記安定化手段が各増幅器に対するテール電流を生じる手段を含み、該テー ル電流は絶対温度に実質的に比例することを特徴とする請求項1記載の対数コン バータ。
- 3.前記テール電流を生じる前記手段が、増幅トランジスタの電流利得およびそ の固有抵抗の関数であるテール電流を生じることを特徴とする請求項2記載の対 数コンバータ。
- 4.検出器の出力電流への温度依存性を補償して対数インターセプトを安定化す る手段を更に設けてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の対 数コンバータ。
- 5.前記補償手段が前記第1の増幅器の入力側に減衰器を含み、該減衰器は絶対 温度に比例する減衰率を生じることを特徴とする請求項4記載の対数コンバータ 。
- 6.前記補償手段が、温度変動による加算電流における変化を補償する電流を加 算された検出器出力冠流に合成する手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の 対数コンバータ。
