［従来の技術］
従来、ヒトの皮膚のがゆみを止めるには、コルチコステ
ロイドなど種々の薬剤が開発されてきている。しかしこ
れらの薬剤の中には、副作用が強く使用に当たって注意
を払わねばならず、又長期にわたって使用することが困
難である。一方、副作用の少ないものは、かゆみに対す

本発明において用いられるヨモギ（ｉ）は、学名をアル
テミシア・ブリンセブス・パムバニニ（Ａｒｔｅｍｉｓ
ｉａ ｐｒｉｎｃｅｐｓ Ｐａｍｐａｎｉｎｉ）と呼ば
れるものであり、山野に自生する多年草であって、餅や
団子に入れて食する。このほか、ヤマヨモギ（オウヨモ
ギ）［アルテミシア・モンタナ・パムバニ＝ （Ａ、
ｎｏｎｔａｎａ Ｐａｍｐａｎｉｎｉ） ］も用いるこ
とができる６本発明では、このヨモギの葉、茎、花及び
根など全体を用いることができる。そして、ヨモギの処
理に当たっては、生のままでも又は乾燥したものでもよ

本発明の外用剤では、これらヨモギの抽出液及び椿油を
活性成分として含有する。その剤型としては、液剤、軟

、ゲルスティック、スプレィ及びエロゾルなどが挙げら
れる。これらの薬剤は、従来行なわれている方法により
製造され、必要に応じ、添加物例えば保存料、皮膚浸透
助剤、軟膏及びクリームにおけるエモリエントを加える
ことができる。さらに、相溶性の従来用いられている担
体例えばクリーム及び軟膏の基剤及びローション用のエ

られず、外用剤として広く使用されているステロイド軟
膏にょくみられる色素沈着や毛細血管拡張のような現象
