Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 <本発明の産業上の利用分野> 本発明は、樹脂平面に押し付けて回転して、摩
擦熱によつて樹脂平面に溶着するための、樹脂製
回転溶着部材に関する。
<従来技術>(第9,10図) 樹脂平面に回転溶着するための従来の樹脂製回
転溶着部材、例えばスタツド1や留め具2は、第
9図、第10図の如く柱部3の一端に円板状のフ
ランジ部4を突設し、フランジ部4の溶着面と反
対側の周縁部に係合突起5を突設した構造となつ
ている。
この樹脂製部材を樹脂製の取付基板に取付ける
には第11図に示すように、樹脂製の取付基板6
の取付けるべき位置に、回転治具7でスタツド1
又は留め具2を保持して押し付け、回転治具7の
切欠き7aに係合突起5を係合して高速回転させ
る。この時に生じる摩擦熱によつてフランジ部4
及び取付基板6の両接触面が溶融する。回転を停
止した後、溶融部は冷却、硬化し、この結果、ス
タツド1又は留め具2は取付基板6に強固に固定
される。
<本発明が解決しようとする問題点> しかしながら、上記の構造のスタツド1又は留
め具2では、この回転溶着の際に生じる摩擦熱に
よつて、フランジ部4と取付基板6の接触面が溶
融するばかりでなく、取付基板6が充分に厚くな
いと、この部材熱の過剰分によつて取付基板6の
裏面側までが軟化して、溶着のための回転治具7
によるスタツド1又は留め具2への押圧とも相ま
つて、第12図に示すように取付基板6の裏面側
が外方へ凸状に膨出するいわゆる“裏ウツリ現
象”が生じていた。
このため、取付基板6の裏面が外観品として用
いられる場合には、この“裏ウツリ現象”のため
に外観性を著しく低下させてた。
<本発明の目的> 本発明は、このような外観性の低下を招く“裏
ウツリ現象”の発生をできる限り少なくするため
にフランジ部の形状を改造して過剰熱による影響
を低減した樹脂製回転溶着部材を提供することを
目的としている。
<本発明の手段> 上記目的を達成するため、本発明では、樹脂製
回転溶着部材のフランジ部の取付面と反対面に中
央から外周方向へ延設されたリブを一体的に突設
したことを特徴としている。
<上記手段による作用> このようにフランジ部の取付面の反対面に中央
から外周方向へ突設されたリブが、一体的に突設
されているので、回転時に、リブによつて空気が
激しく巻き込まれて、摩擦熱の発生量が減少し、
回転溶着時に空気を巻き込むため過剰熱が奪われ
て、過剰熱が取付基板の裏面まで伝わらず、裏面
の膨出が少なくなる。
<本発明の実施例>(第1〜8図) 以下、図面に基づいて本発明の実施例を説明す
る。
第1,2図はそれぞれ本発明による樹脂製回転
溶着部材(スタツド又は留め具)の実施例を示し
ている。
第1図は合成樹脂で一体成形されたスタツド
で、円筒状の柱部10と、その一端に突設された
円板状のフランジ部11と、フランジ部11の溶
着面と反対面側の周縁部に突設された係合突起1
2とを備え、フランジ部11の取付面11aの反
対面11bには、半径方向の複数のリブ13,1
3,…を備えている。
第2図は柱部10に係合用の弾性突起14,1
4を備えた留め具で、他の部分の構造は第1図と
同一である。
第3図の如く回転治具16で樹脂製回転溶着部
材(スタツド又は留め具)を保持し、回転治具1
6の切欠き16a,16aに係合突起12,12
を係合して合成樹脂製の取付基板17にフランジ
部11を押し付けて高速回転させると、接触面が
摩擦熱で溶融して溶着する。
この回転の際に、リブ13,13,…が空気を
巻き込んでフランジ部11から熱が奪われるた
め、摩擦熱の過剰分がフランジ部11に溜まるこ
とがなく、従つて取付基板17の裏面側が従来の
如く第12図のように凸状に膨出する“裏ウツリ
現象”が生じることが少なくなる。
なお、留め具の場合には、リブ13の高さを留
め付ける板18の厚さに応じて適宜設定すれば、
第4図の如く、留め具の弾性突起14,14の下
端とリブ13とで板18を挾持でさせることがで
きる。
なお、リブ13は第5,6図の如く傾斜させて
もよい。
また、リブ13の他に第7,8図の如く、さら
に貫通穴19,19,…を設けてもよい。このよ
うにすれば、この貫通穴19,19,…によつて
回転溶着時のフランジ部11の過剰熱の放出が一
層促進される。また貫通穴19,19,…のため
にフランジ部11が冷却収縮時に取付基板17に
追従変化するため、取付基板17の裏面にシワ、
湾曲など(第13図に示す)が生じにくくなる。
<本発明の効果> 以上説明したように本発明の樹脂製回転溶着部
材では、フランジ部11の取付面の反対面に、中
央から外周方向へ延設されたリブ13が、一体的
に突設されているので、回転時に、リブ13によ
つて空気が激しく巻き込まれて、フランジ部11
の表面に激しく空気が衝突するので、フランジ部
11から熱が奪われるため、摩擦熱の過剰分がフ
ランジ部11に溜まることがなく、このため、取
付基板の裏面の“裏ウツリ現象”の発生を少なく
することができる。

面図である。第4図は留め具に板を取付けた状態
を示す断面図である。第5〜8図はそれぞれ本発
明の他の実施例の取付けた状態を示す斜視図であ
る。第9,10図は従来の樹脂製回転溶着部材を
示す斜視図である。第11図は回転溶着動作を示
す概略正面図である。第12,13図は“裏ウツ
リ現象”が生じた取付け状態を示す断面図であ

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 柱部と、該柱部の一端に一体的に設けられた
    円板状のフランジ部を備え、高速回転によつて該
    フランジ部の取付面を樹脂製の取付面に溶着させ
    る樹脂製回転溶着部材において、 前記フランジ部の前記取付面の反対面に、中央
    から外周方向へ延設されたリブを一体的に突設し
    たことを特徴とする樹脂製回転溶着部材。
