Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、透明なブリスターパックの製造方法に関する
ものであり、溶着と同時に溶断し、なおかつ溶着中を出
来るだけ小さくしたブリスターパックの製造方法に関す
るものである。
〔従来の技術〕
従来からブリスターパック形式の包装においては、成形
された表部材と裏部材とを、接合部、いわゆるフランジ
部で溶着又は接着してブリスターパンクとなす方法や、
裏部材のフランジ部を折り曲げ加工し、表部材の7ラン
ノ部をはさみ込むススライドブリスター形式のものがあ
る。しかしながら、最近は、溶着又は接着部分のフラン
ジ部の塊 巾を極力小さくし、かつ封備性の良いブリスターパック
形式が強く要望されて来ている。
表部材と裏部材とをフランジ部で溶着又は接着する方法
としては、ヒートシールにより溶接する方法、接着剤を
用いて接着する方法がとられて来ている。これ等の方法
によるものは、溶着又は接着する工程と、接合部を一部
残して刃により打ち抜く工程とに別れており、しかも打
ち抜き刃で打ち抜く工程において精度管理を厳しくしな
ければならず、非常に手間のかかるものとなって来てい
る。
更に接着剤を用いたものは接着剤臭が残ることが生し、
内容物によっては、接着剤系は用いることができない場
合が多い。
これ以外の方法では、最近に高周波を用いて、溶着と同
時に溶断するといった方法も提案されているが、この高
周波を用いる方法は、列形状をした電極を用いてl容着
、溶断するものであり、溶着、溶断時にスパークを起し
やすく、その都度、刃先を清浄しなければならず、危険
であると同時に、醜 溶着、溶断面の仕上り状態も悪く、しかも封犠性も安定
したものが得られていないのが現状である。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題] 本発明は超音波を用いることによって、接合部株゛ の巾を小さく抑え、しかも安定した封繊性をもたせたブ
リスターパックを溶着・溶断を同時に行う慎 ことにより、美麗で封織性の優れ、しかも開封時にスム
ースに開封することのできるブリスターパックの製造方
法を提案するにある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明は、ブリスターパックにおいて成形された表部材
と裏部材とを超音波により溶着、溶断する方法を種々検
討を重ねた結果、超音波ホーンの受け金側の列形形状を
片刃形状とし、刃形形状部の厚みTと接合部との厚みL
との比率T/tが0゜5〜10の範囲の列形形状を有し
、しかも、列形形状が、接合する部分から溶断する部分
に向けてなだらかなテーパー状又は曲線状の形状を有し
、更に、受け台の刃先の高さt、はtに対してt〉tと
なる受け台を用いて、超音波による溶着、溶断を同時に
行うことが一番優れた方法であることを見い出し本発明
を完成させたものである。
〔作用及び実施例] 図により、本発明をさらに説明する。
第1図は本発明によって得られたブリスターパックのl
断面を示すものであり、透明のプラスチックで成形され
た表部材2は、パックされる内容物形状により、種々変
えられるが、そのうちの1例を示したものである。表部
材2と裏部材3とが接合部4を介し溶着されている。第
2図に接合部4の拡大図を示す。第2図において表部材
2と裏部材3とは5の部分で溶着されており、その溶断
面は6の形状となっている。
第3図は、第2図における溶着、溶断をする為の工程の
概略を示す図である。ブリスターパック本体(表部材2
)と蓋となる裏部材3とを同時に供給し、超音波ホーン
8を受け台7に、超音波を発信させながら押圧し、溶着
と同時に溶断を行う。
ブリスターパックに用いられる材料は、表部材としては
透明性を有するプラスチックであれば、どの様な種類の
ものでもよく、ブリスターパックの機能を発揮できるも
のであればすべて用いることができる。
例えば、成形された形状での保形性が必要とされる場合
には硬質塩化ビニル、ポリスチロール、ポリカーボネー
ト等から成形されたものが用いられ、特に必要とあれば
、ガスノ\リア性等を付与した複合性からなるものも用
いられる。更に、ハム、ソーセージ等の包装用に軟質系
の成形品を用いることも可能である。
又、用いられる裏部材としては、印刷されたプラスチッ
ク成形品又は平面状の板状体等を用いることも又は紙、
繊維からはるものも用いることができ、表部材となる透
明なプラスチック部材と超音波によって溶着でき得る材
質のものはすべて用いることができる。
特に表部材と裏部材との接合面が同種のプラスチックで
あれば溶着面が極く小さな巾であっても充分に溶着させ
ることができる。
更には超音波を用いることにより異種材料とを種々に組
み合せることにより、パッケージ効果を高めることが可
能である。
本発明において用いる超音波ホーンの受け台部の列形形
状は第4図に示す形状での列形形状であることか必要で
あり、第4図(a)に示す様なテーバ状の月形形状にお
いては刃先に向ってl0〜60度の角度を有す様な形状
であることが望ましく、又第4図(blに示す形状にあ
っては、刃先部に向って0〜30度程の角度を有し、徐
々に立ち上り、刃先部に達する曲線状の形状であること
が望ましい。
又受け台の厚みTは、溶着する面の巾に影響を与えるも
ので巾が大きすぎれば、当初の目的とする極小の溶着面
の巾を得ることが出来ず、更にあまり小さすぎれば、充
分な溶着強さを得ることができず、受け台の厚さTは、
接合面における表部材と裏部材の真の厚み合計りに対し
ての比率(T/1)が0.5〜10であることが肝要で
ある。T/tが0,5以下であれば、充分な溶着強さが
得られず、又、月形形状の受け台の強度も弱くなってし
まい破tfiしてしまうという恐れがある。又T/tが
10以上であれば、溶着部分のフランジの巾が大となっ
てしまい、商品価値を低下させてしまう。
又、刃先の高さり、は、1>1.の関係にあることが必
要であり、LlがLと同等及至はそれ以上であれば溶着
強さが弱くなり、安定した封緘性を得ることが出来ない
以上の様な月形形状の受け台上に透明のプラスチンク成
形品からなる表部材と裏部材を重ね、その上から超音波
ホーンにより溶着、溶断とを同時に行う。
尚、超音波による溶着、溶断する条件としては、用いる
材質によって異なるが、例えば、表部材、裏部材ともに
硬質塩ビニルシートからなる場合は表部材シート厚み0
.3m+、裏部材シート厚み0.15胴、受台列中1.
 Owr、刃幅斜角15°ストレート品を用い、超音波
処理条件は、出力2KW(使用エネルギー55J)、溶
着、溶断時間0.3 s e c、ホールド(冷却)時
間1.Qsec、加圧力350kpa、/i:込み高さ
量0.2 mmであり、表部t/tt 0゜3rwlが
硬質塩化ビニルと接着剤をコートとした合成紙to、4
mの裏部材の場合には出力2KW(使用エネルギー44
J)ホールド時間1.0sec、加圧力430にρa、
沈み込高さ0.35 trmの様な条件で表部材と裏部
材とを溶着と同時に溶断することが出来る。
〔発明の効果] 本発明により得られるブリスターパックは、接合部(フ
ランジ部)の飛び出し部を非常に小さくすることが可能
、商品価値を高めることができ、溶着と溶断が同時に一
工程ででき、更に刃先部のケアーも非常に容易にするこ
とが出来る上に、例えば、接合部上に水滴、油滴等の汚
れや、固形物の汚れが多少付着した状態であっても、超
音波振動を与えることにより、これらの汚れを除去出来
、非常に安定した完全な封緘性を得ることが出来る。
更に、開封時には、溶着面の巾を非常に小さくしている
為に易開封性となっており、パッケージソゲされた内容
物の保護性にもすぐれ、しかも内容物を取り出し易いブ
リスターパッケージを得ることが出来る。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)透明なプラスチックを成形して得られる表部材2
    と成形された或いは平面状の裏部材3から構成されるブ
    リスターパックにおいて、表部材2と裏部材3との接合
    部4を、ブリスターパック側より、なだらかなテーパー
    状10又は曲線状11の刃先9を有する受け台7であっ
    て、該受け台7の厚みTが、表部材2と裏部材3の接合
    部4における厚みtに対して、T/tが0.5〜10で
    あり、且つ受け台7の刃先の高さt_1はtに対して、
    t_1>tである受け台7を用い、超音波により、表部
    材2と裏部材3とを溶着させると同時に接合部4を溶断
    させるブリスターパックの製造方法。
