第１図は本考案に係る非接触シール装置シール
の一実施例を示す半截断面図、第２図は第１図の
−線断面図、第３図Ａ〜Ｂは夫々両密封端面
の相対回転形態及び動圧分布を示す作用説明図で
あり、同図Ａは適正状態を示し、同図Ｂは外高状
態を示し、同図Ｃは内高状態を示している。第４
図は他の実施例を示す第１図相当の半截断面図で
あり、第５図は第４図の−線断面図である。
第６図は従来技術を示す第１図相当の半截断面図
である。 １……シールケース、２……回転軸、３……静
止密封環、３ａ……静止側密封端面、５……回転
密封環、５ａ……回転側密封端面、７……流体導
入溝、８……連通孔、９……動圧発生溝、９ａ…
…動圧発生溝部分（流体導入領域から外周方向に
食み出した部分）、９ｂ……動圧発生溝部分（流
体導入領域から内周方向に食み出した部分）、Ｈ

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シールケース側に静止密封環を軸線方向摺動可
    能に保持すると共に回転軸側に回転密封環を固定
    して、両密封環の対向端面における衝合部分であ
    る静止側密封端面と回転側密封端面とが、両密封
    端面間に高圧側密封流体による流体膜を介在させ
    た状態で相対回転されることにより、高圧側密封
    流体領域と低圧側密封流体領域とを遮蔽シールす
    るようにした非接触シール装置において、何れか
    一方の密封端面に、円周方向に連続又は断続して
    延びる環状の流体導入溝を形成し、該流体導入溝
    を有する密封環に、流体導入溝を高圧側密封流体
    領域に連通させる連通孔を形成し、何れか一方の
    密封端面に、半径方向において密封端面から食み
    出さず且つ流体導入溝による流体導入領域から外
    周方向及び内周方向に食み出しており、両密封端
    面の相対回転により高圧側密封流体を前記流体導
    入領域から外周方向及び内周方向にポンピングさ
    せうる動圧発生溝を形成したことを特徴とする非
    接触シール装置。
