    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. メカニカルシールにおいて、回転軸９とともに回転する
    回転シールリング８のシール面８１と相対する静止シー
    ルリング７のシール面７１に、回転によって密封流体が
    高圧側に封じこまれる方向に複数個のスパイラル溝１を
    設け、スパイラル溝の低圧側端部において、全スパイラ
    ル溝に通じる環状溝２が設けられており、該環状溝と静
    止シニルリング７のシ゛−ル面７１の高圧側とは絞り部
    ５をもつ孔６で連通していることを特徴とするメカニカ
    ルシール。
