Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はプリントヘッドに関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のプリントヘッドは１種類の印字ピッチの
プリントヘッドピンを備えたもので構成されていた。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来のプリントヘッドは１種類の印字ピッチの
プリントヘッドピンで構成されているので、印字ピッチ
を変えることは不可能であった。
本発明の目的は１個のプリントヘッドで２種類の印字ピ
ッチの印字を実現するプリントヘッドを提供することに
ある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
前記目的を達成するため１本発明に係るプリントヘッド
においては、プリンタの動作を制御するドライバー回路
と、前記ドライバー回路で制御されるハンマー回路と、
前記ハンマー回路で押し出されるプリントヘッドピンの
切り換えを可能とする印字ピッチ切換回路とを有し、印
字ピッチの異なる少なくとも２種以上のプリントヘッド
ピンを備えた単一のプリントヘッドにより、２種以上の
印字ピッチの印字を行う機能を備えたものである。
〔実施例〕
以下１本発明の一実施例を図により説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例を示す構成図である。
図において１本発明のプリントヘッドは、プリンタの動
作を制御するドライバー回路１と、前記ドライバー回路
１で制御されるハンマー回路２と、前記ハンマー回路２
で押し出されるプリントヘッドピンの切り換えを可能と
する印字ピッチ切換回路３と、　ｌ／１６０インチ及び
ｌ／１８０インチの両方のプリントヘッドピンにより２
種類の印字ピッチの印字を行うプリントヘッド４とを有
する。
プリントヘッドはｌ／１６０インチとｌ／１８０インチ
のピンを並列に配置することにより構成されるｌ／１６
０、　ｌ／１８０兼用プリントヘツド４を有しており、
ハンマー回路２で押出されるプリントヘッドピンの切換
を行い、その指令に基づいて印字ピッチ切換回路３によ
りプリントヘッド４の１７１６０インチ及びｌ／１８０
インチのプリントヘッドピンを切換えてｌ／１６０イン
チ及びｌ／１８０インチの両方の印字ピッチの印字を行
う。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明はプリントヘッドにｌ／１６
０インチ及びｌ／１８０インチの両方の印字ピッチを備
えたプリントヘッドとそれを切り換える回路により、ｌ
／１６０インチとｌ／１８０インチの両方の印字ピッチ
の印字を可能とする効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）プリンタの動作を制御するドライバー回路と、前
    記ドライバー回路で制御されるハンマー回路と、前記ハ
    ンマー回路で押し出されるプリントヘッドピンの切り換
    えを可能とする印字ピッチ切換回路とを有し、印字ピッ
    チの異なる少なくとも２種以上のプリントヘッドピンを
    備えた単一のプリントヘッドにより、２種以上の印字ピ
    ッチの印字を行う機能を備えたことを特徴とするプリン
    トヘッド。
