Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、圧力及び摩擦熱によつて、互いに上
下に位置する熱プラスチツク帯材を溶着する装置
であつて、帯材長手方向に延びる不動の摩擦締付
け具と、可動の摩擦締付け具とを有しており、該
両方の摩擦締付け具は互いに圧着可能であり、か
つ可動の摩擦締付け具が、溶着平面に対して垂直
な軸を中心にして旋回可能である形式のものに関
する。
本発明の課題は、帯材料材が種々異なるために
種々異なる帯材寸法及び生ぜしめられる摩擦熱に
適合させることのできる前述の形式の装置を提供
することである。
このような課題を解決するために本発明では唯
1つの可動の摩擦締付け具が設けられており、該
摩擦締付け具が帯材の端部を保持しかつこの帯材
と一緒に旋回可能であり、さらにこの帯材端部に
おける摩擦締付け具の当付け面が溶着範囲より大
きいようにした。
このような本発明の構成の利点は、可動の摩擦
締付け具を溶着平面に対して垂直な軸を中心にし
て往復旋回させることにより、2つの可動な締付
け具を並進運動させて互いに当接し合う帯材端部
を溶着する形式のものより高い付加を、上方の可
動の帯材端部が受けないということである。つま
り、往復旋回される締付け具のばあいには、運動
量が旋回軸の方へ行くに従つて段々小さくなりか
つ0まで減少するので、摩擦熱は、唯1つだけが
旋回する摩擦締付け具のばあいにも溶着範囲の長
さにわたつて不均一に分配され、従つて溶着区域
から溶着しない区域への移行部において帯材が弱
くされることはない。上方の帯材端部を程度の差
こそあれ広く可動の摩擦締付け具の下側で移動さ
せることができる。このことによつて、溶着範囲
の長さは、寸法及びそれぞれ加工すべき帯材の料
材特性及び伝達すべき引張力に適合される。さら
に、摩擦締付け具が、互いに向い合う面において
幅を調節されるみぞを有している。
以下に図示の実施例につき本発明を説明する。
全体を符号10で示した、プラスチツク帯材を
溶着する装置は、図面において一点鎖線で示され
たケーシング50から成つており、該ケーシング
はその前方縁に不動の摩擦締付け具15を支持し
ている。このような不動の摩擦締付け具15の上
側に可動の摩擦締付け具16が設けられており、
該摩擦締付け具16はジヤーナル25によつて垂
直軸を中心にして旋回可能にケーシングに支承さ
れている。不動の摩擦締付け具15及び可動な摩
擦締付け具16が、互いに接合すべきプラスチツ
ク帯材17,18の長手方向に延びている。この
ばあい下方のプラスチツク帯材18は不動の摩擦
締付け具15のみぞ19内に位置しており、該み
ぞの幅Bは変化可能であつて、下方のプラスチツ
ク帯材の幅に適合される。類似の形式で可動な摩
擦締付け具16の下側にみぞ22が設けられてお
り、該みぞ22内に上方のプラスチツク帯材17
の端部が位置する。このみぞ22の幅も変化され
る。みぞの代わりに、摩擦締付け具が凹凸部たと
えば歯を備えることもでき、該歯はプラスチツク
帯材表面に押付けられ、従つて上方のプラスチツ
ク帯材端部は可動の摩擦締付け具の旋回運動時に
連行される。
第1図及び第3図から判るように、可動な摩擦
締付け具16が水平スリツト30を有しており、
該水平スリツトに連接棒36が係合し、該連接棒
は可動の摩擦締付け具16にピン56によつて支
承されていてかつ連接棒は他端部57において偏
心板37によつて駆動される。前記偏心板37は
駆動軸38によつて図示されない形式でケーシン
グ50に支承されている。ここでは説明されない
圧力装置40によつて、可動の摩擦締付け具16
に矢印Pの方向で圧力が及ぼされる。
本発明による溶着装置の作用形式は以下の通り
である。
プラスチツク帯材17,18が互いに上下に位
置して嵌め込まれかつ締め付けられる。このばあ
い上方のプラスチツク帯材17の端部が可動の摩
擦締付け具16の前方縁を越えて突出しており、
しかもこの端部は溶着範囲の所望の長さに応じて
さらに後に位置する個所で終わつていることもで
きる。可動の摩擦締付け具16はその全平面によ
つて上方のプラスチツク帯材端部上に位置してお
り、従つてプラスチツク帯材17の端部上の当て
付け面は、プラスチツク帯材端部を互いに重なる
面で軟化しかつ材料融合を生ぜしめる溶着範囲よ
り大きい。
駆動装置をスイツチ・オンした後に、駆動軸3
8が運動され、かつ偏心板37が連接棒36に往
復運動を与える。このことによつて可動な摩擦締
付け具16はジヤーナル25を中心にして往復旋
回され、このばあい同時に摩擦締付け具16に、
圧力装置40によつて圧力Pが及ぼされる。可動
の摩擦締付け具16が往復旋回するさいに、みぞ
22内に位置する上方のプラスチツク帯材17が
連行されかつ下方に位置しているプラスチツク帯
材18に対して相対的に圧力下で往復運動され
る。このことによつて、上方のプラスチツク帯材
端部の長さにわたつてジヤーナル25に向つて減
少する摩擦熱が生ぜしめられ、該摩擦熱によつ
て、互いに向かい合うプラスチツク帯材端部の面
が融解されてかつ互いに溶着される。
さらに、みぞ19,22の深さは、プラスチツ
ク帯材17,18の厚さよりわずかに小さくなつ
ており、従つて往復運動するさいにプラスチツク
帯材端部のみが互いに接触し、しかし摩擦締付け
具は互いに接触しない。
可動の摩擦締付け具16の前方縁59における
旋回距離は、ジヤーナル25の近く後方縁より著
しく大きいので、互いに摩擦されるプラスチツク
帯材17,18の加熱も可動の摩擦締付け具の自
由前方縁59の近くではジヤーナル25の近くよ
り大きい。このことによつて両方のプラスチツク
帯材端部の密接的な融解区域が、両プラスチツク
帯材を互いに溶着せずに位置するそれぞれの区域
へ徐々に移行する。
本発明は以上の実施例に限定されるものではな
く、種々の態様で実施可能である。たとえば、接
合すべきプラスチツク帯材のためのみぞ幅を、変
化させることもできる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 圧力及び摩擦熱によつて、互いに上下に位置
    する熱プラスチツク帯材を溶着する装置であつ
    て、帯材長手方向に延びる不動の摩擦締付け具
    と、可動の摩擦締付け具とを有しており、該両方
    の摩擦締付け具は互いに圧着可能であり、かつ可
    動の摩擦締め付け具が、溶着平面に対して垂直な
    軸を中心にして旋回可能である形式のものにおい
    て、唯1つの可動の摩擦締付け具16が設けられ
    ており、該摩擦締付け具が帯材17の端部を保持
    しかつこの帯材と一緒に旋回可能であり、さらに
    この帯材端部における摩擦締付け具の当付け面が
    溶着範囲より大きいことを特徴とする互いに上下
    に位置する熱プラスチツク帯材を溶着する装置。 2 可動の摩擦締付け具16の、一方の帯材17
    端部に向いた表面が凹凸にされている特許請求の
    範囲第1項記載の熱プラスチツク帯材を溶着する
    装置。 3 可動の摩擦締付け具16が一方の帯材17の
    端部を側方からつかむようになつている特許請求
    の範囲第1項記載の熱プラスチツク帯材を溶着す
    る装置。 4 摩擦締付け具15,16が、互いに向かい合
    う面において幅Bを調節されるみぞ19,22を
    有している特許請求の範囲第1項記載の熱プラス
    チツク帯材を溶着する装置。
