Claims (9)
- 作用極(102)と、対極(103)と、を備え、
前記作用極は、多孔質状の電極基材(102a)と、CO2吸着材(102b)と、導電性を有するバインダ(102c)とを有しており、
前記作用極と前記対極との間に電圧が印加されることで、前記対極から前記作用極に電子が供給され、前記CO2吸着材は電子が供給されることに伴ってCO2含有ガスに含まれるCO2と結合し、
前記バインダは、前記電極基材に形成された凹凸の隙間に入り込み前記電極基材との間に機械的な結合力を発生させ、前記CO2吸着材を前記電極基材に保持している電気化学セル。 - 前記バインダは、前記CO 2 吸着材及び有機溶媒を分散、混合させた状態で含み、流動性を有する液体状物質の前記バインダの原材料を、前記電極基材に形成された凹凸の隙間に入り込んだ状態でゲル化または固化されているゲル状物質または固体状物質である請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記バインダは、イオン液体をゲル化したイオン液体ゲルである請求項2に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記バインダは、CO2を透過させることができるCO2透過性を有している請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記CO2含有ガスには複数種類のガスが含まれており、
前記バインダは、前記CO2含有ガスに含まれる複数種類のガスのうち、CO2を選択的に透過させることができるCO2選択透過性を有している請求項4に記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記バインダは、疎水性を有している請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記バインダと前記CO2吸着材の混合物を形成し、前記混合物が前記電極基材に保持されている請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記作用極と前記対極の間にイオン伝導性を有するイオン伝導性部材(106)が設けられており、前記イオン伝導性部材はゲル状物質もしくは固体状物質である請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 請求項1ないし8のいずれか1つに記載の電気化学セルを備える二酸化炭素回収システム。
