Description
上記課題を解決するための本発明の第1の態様の三次元造形物の製造装置は、造形テーブルと、前記造形テーブルに粉末層を形成する層形成部と、前記粉末層における三次元造形物の造形領域にバインダーを含む液体を吐出するヘッドと、前記ヘッドに前記液体を供給する液体供給システムと、前記造形テーブルに対して前記ヘッドを相対移動させる移動システムと、を備え、前記ヘッドは、前記液体を吐出するノズルと、前記ノズルに連通する圧力室と、前記液体の供給方向における上流側で前記圧力室に通じる供給流路と、前記供給方向における下流側で前記圧力室に通じる循環流路と、を備え、前記循環流路は、第1フィルターを備え、前記第1フィルターの孔径は、前記粉末層を形成する粉末の粒子径よりも大きいことを特徴とする。
[実施例1]
最初に、実施例1三次元造形物の製造装置1の概要について図1を参照して説明する。ここで、図1及び後述する各図における図中のX方向は水平方向であり供給ユニット8の往復移動方向に対応し、このうち、X1方向は往方向、X2方向は復方向に対応する。また、Y方向は水平方向であるとともにX方向と直交する方向であり、ローラー6の回転軸の延びる方向に対応する。また、Z方向は鉛直方向であり、層500の積層方向に対応する。
以下に、実施例2の三次元造形物の製造装置1について、図8を参照して説明する。なお、図8は実施例1の三次元造形物の製造装置1における図7に対応する図であり、図8中の実線の矢印はヘッド3の内部での液体の流れる方向を表している。図8において上記実施例1と共通する構成部材は同じ符号で示しており、詳細な説明は省略する。

Claims (8)
- 造形テーブルと、
前記造形テーブルに粉末層を形成する層形成部と、
前記粉末層における三次元造形物の造形領域にバインダーを含む液体を吐出するヘッドと、
前記ヘッドに前記液体を供給する液体供給システムと、
前記造形テーブルに対して前記ヘッドを相対移動させる移動システムと、
を備え、
前記ヘッドは、前記液体を吐出するノズルと、前記ノズルに連通する圧力室と、前記液体の供給方向における上流側で前記圧力室に通じる供給流路と、前記供給方向における下流側で前記圧力室に通じる循環流路と、を備え、
前記循環流路は、第1フィルターを備え、
前記第1フィルターの孔径は、前記粉末層を形成する粉末の粒子径よりも大きいことを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記ノズルの内径は、前記第1フィルターの孔径よりも大きいことを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記第1フィルターよりも前記供給方向における下流側の位置に、第2フィルターを備えることを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項3に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記第2フィルターの孔径は、前記粉末層を形成する粉末の粒子径よりも小さいことを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項3または4に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記第2フィルターは、交換可能であることを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項5に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記循環流路における前記第2フィルターよりも前記供給方向における下流側の位置に、前記液体の流量センサーを備え、
前記流量センサーによって前記液体の流量が閾値以下の流量であると検出された場合に、前記第2フィルターの交換情報を出力することを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記供給流路に、前記粉末層を形成する粉末の粒子径よりも小さい孔径の第3フィルターを備えることを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。 - 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載された三次元造形物の製造装置において、
前記循環流路における前記圧力室と隣接する領域の底面は、前記供給流路における前記圧力室と隣接する領域の底面よりも、重力方向において下側の位置に配置されることを特徴とする三次元造形物の製造装置。
