Description
図1は、第1実施形態としての液体噴射ヘッド200を備える液体噴射装置100の概略構成を示す説明図である。図1には、互いに直交するX,Y,Z方向に沿った矢印が表されている。X方向およびY方向は、水平方向に沿った方向であり、Z方向は、鉛直方向に沿った方向である。本細書では、-Z方向を第1方向D1、+Z方向を第2方向D2、+X方向を第3方向D3、+Y方向を第4方向D4とも呼ぶ。なお、他の図においても、X,Y,Z方向に沿った矢印が、適宜、表されている。図1におけるX,Y,Z方向と、他の図におけるX,Y,Z方向とは、同じ方向を表している。

図8は、第2実施形態における流路構造体400bの概略構成を示す説明図である。図8には、図6と同様に、第1流路401の延伸方向と交差する面における流路構造体400bの断面が示されている。第1流路部材410bを構成する第1フィルム部材415bの第1面416bは、第1実施形態と異なり、第1凹部表面414だけでなく、第1表面412の少なくとも一部とも密着している。なお、本実施形態では、第1流路部材410bのうち、第1フィルム部材415bの第2面417bと、第2流路部材420とが、接着層430を介して接着されている。

(J-1)上記実施形態では、流路構造体400は、1つの第1流路401を有している。これに対して、流路構造体400は、複数の第1流路401を有していてもよい。流路構造体400には、例えば、使用する液体の種類に応じて第1流路401が設けられてもよい。この場合、1種類の液体に対応して1つの第1流路401を設けてもよいし、複数種類の液体に対応して複数の第1流路401を設けてもよい。なお、流路構造体400が複数種類の液体に対応して複数の第1流路401を有する構成である場合、複数の第1流路401は互いに独立した流路であり、互いに連通しない。
本開示は、上述の各実施形態に限られるものではなく、その趣旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々の形態によって実現することができる。例えば、本開示は以下の形態として実現可能である。以下に記載する各形態中の技術的特徴に対応する上記の各実施形態中の技術的特徴は、本開示の課題の一部又は全部を解決するために、あるいは、本開示の効果の一部又は全部を達成するために、適宜、差し替えや、組み合わせを行うことが可能である。また、その技術的特徴が本明細書中において必須であると説明されていなければ、適宜、削除することが可能である。
このような形態によれば、第1樹脂部材に付着している異物が第1流路内に露出することが抑制され、第1流路内を流れる液体に異物が混入することが抑制される。
前記積層方向において前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2フィルム部材の前記第3面とが、前記第1流路を画定していてもよい。このような形態によれば、第1流路への異物の混入がより抑制される。
前記第3面は、前記積層方向において前記第1表面と重なる領域内で、前記第2面に接着され、前記積層方向において前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2フィルム部材の前記第3面とが、前記第1流路を画定していてもよい。このような形態によれば、第2流路部材を構成する第2樹脂部材に付着している異物が、第1流路内に露出することを抑制できる。また、第1流路部材と第2流路部材とが、それぞれのフィルム同士を接着されているため、第1流路部材と第2流路部材との間の接着強度が向上している。
このような形態によれば、樹脂部材に付着している異物が流路内に露出することが抑制され、流路内を流れる液体に異物が混入することが抑制される。
Claims (22)
- 第1流路を有する流路構造体であって、
樹脂で構成された第1樹脂部材と、フィルムを有する第1フィルム部材と、を有する第1流路部材と、
前記第1流路部材に積層され、前記第1流路部材と接着している第2流路部材と、を備え、
前記第1樹脂部材は、前記第2流路部材と対向する面であり第1凹部が設けられた第1表面を有し、
前記第1フィルム部材は、第1面と、前記第1面と反対側の第2面と、を有し、
前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1凹部内の表面と密着しており、
前記第2流路部材は、樹脂で構成された第2樹脂部材と、フィルムを有する第2フィルム部材を有し、
前記第2フィルム部材は、前記第1流路部材に対向する第3面と、前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材との積層方向において前記第2フィルム部材の前記第3面と反対側の第4面と、を有し、
前記積層方向において前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2フィルム部材の前記第3面とが、前記第1流路を画定し、
前記第2樹脂部材は、前記第4面の少なくとも一部と固定される第2表面を有し、
前記第2表面には、前記第1凹部と対向する第2凹部が設けられ、
前記第2樹脂部材の前記第2凹部内の表面と前記第4面とが離れていることで、前記第2凹部内の前記表面と前記第4面とによって第1空間が画定されることを特徴とする、
流路構造体。 - 前記第1空間は、前記流路構造体の外部の大気と連通していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第2凹部の幅は、前記第1流路の幅よりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の流路構造体。
- 第1流路を有する流路構造体であって、
樹脂で構成された第1樹脂部材と、フィルムを有する第1フィルム部材と、を有する第1流路部材と、
前記第1流路部材に積層され、前記第1流路部材と接着している第2流路部材と、を備え、
前記第1樹脂部材は、前記第2流路部材と対向する面であり第1凹部が設けられた第1表面を有し、
前記第1フィルム部材は、第1面と、前記第1面と反対側の第2面と、を有し、
前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1凹部内の表面と密着しており、
前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材との積層方向において、前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2流路部材とが、前記第1流路の少なくとも一部を画定し、
前記第1樹脂部材の外面の一部は、前記第1フィルム部材に密着されていないことを特徴とする、流路構造体。 - 前記第1面は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1表面とは密着していないことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1流路部材は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1表面で、前記第2流路部材に対して接着されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1凹部内の表面および前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1表面と密着しており、且つ、前記第1樹脂部材の前記外面のうち前記積層方向に直交する方向を向く面には密着していないことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の流路構造体。
- 第1流路を有する流路構造体であって、
樹脂で構成された第1樹脂部材と、フィルムを有する第1フィルム部材と、を有する第1流路部材と、
前記第1流路部材に積層され、前記第1流路部材と接着している第2流路部材と、を備え、
前記第1樹脂部材は、前記第2流路部材と対向する面であり第1凹部が設けられた第1表面を有し、
前記第1フィルム部材は、第1面と、前記第1面と反対側の第2面と、を有し、
前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1凹部内の表面および前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1表面と密着しており、
前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材との積層方向において、前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2流路部材とが、前記第1流路の少なくとも一部を画定しており、
前記第1表面には、前記第1凹部とは異なる第3凹部が設けられ、
前記第3凹部の表面が前記第1フィルム部材の前記第1面が密着されていないことで、前記第1面と前記第3凹部の前記表面とによって第2空間が画定されることを特徴とする、流路構造体。 - 前記第2空間は、前記第1流路の延伸方向に沿った方向に延伸していることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1表面と密着していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1流路部材は、前記第1樹脂部材と前記第1フィルム部材との一体成形品であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至10の何れか一項に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記フィルムは、ポリエチレンテレフタラート樹脂、ポリエチレンナフタレート樹脂、高密度ポリエチレン樹脂、および、塩化ビニル樹脂の少なくともいずれかを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載の流路構造体。
- 第1流路を有する流路構造体であって、
樹脂で構成された第1樹脂部材と、フィルムを有する第1フィルム部材と、を有する第1流路部材と、
前記第1流路部材に積層され、前記第1流路部材と接着している第2流路部材と、を備え、
前記第1樹脂部材は、前記第2流路部材と対向する面であり第1凹部が設けられた第1表面を有し、
前記第1フィルム部材は、第1面と、前記第1面と反対側の第2面と、を有し、
前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1凹部内の表面と密着しており、
前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材との積層方向において、前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2流路部材とが、前記第1流路の少なくとも一部を画定しており、
前記第1フィルム部材は、前記第1樹脂部材よりもガスバリア性が高いことを特徴とする、流路構造体。 - 前記フィルムは、ポリグリコール酸樹脂を含有することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1フィルム部材は、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ダイヤモンドライクカーボン、アルミナ、および、酸化ケイ素のうち少なくとも1つを含むガスバリア層を有することを特徴とする、請求項13又は請求項14に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1フィルム部材の前記第1面は、前記ガスバリア層によって構成されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の流路構造体。
- 前記第1樹脂部材は、フィラーを含む樹脂であることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至16の何れか一項に記載の流路構造体。
- 第1流路を有する流路構造体であって、
樹脂で構成された第1樹脂部材と、フィルムを有する第1フィルム部材と、を有する第1流路部材と、
前記第1流路部材に積層され、前記第1流路部材と接着している第2流路部材と、を備え、
前記第1樹脂部材は、前記第2流路部材と対向する面であり第1凹部が設けられた第1表面を有し、
前記第1フィルム部材は、第1面と、前記第1面と反対側の第2面と、を有し、
前記第1面の少なくとも一部は、前記第1樹脂部材の前記第1凹部内の表面と密着しており、
前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材との積層方向において、前記第1凹部と重なる領域内で、前記第1フィルム部材の前記第2面と前記第2流路部材とが、前記第1流路の少なくとも一部を画定しており、
前記第1流路部材は、ポリエチレンテレフタラート樹脂、ポリエチレンナフタレート樹脂、高密度ポリエチレン樹脂、および、塩化ビニル樹脂、金属のうち、何れかによって構成される円筒状の第1パイプを有し、
前記第1流路部材には、前記第1流路に連通し、前記積層方向に対して垂直な面に交差する交差方向に沿う第1貫通孔が設けられ、
前記第1パイプは、前記第1パイプの外周面を前記第1貫通孔の内周面に密着させて、前記第1貫通孔の内部に配置されており、
前記第1パイプの内周面が、前記第1流路に連通し前記交差方向に沿う第2流路を画定することを特徴とする、流路構造体。 - 前記第1流路部材は、ポリエチレンテレフタラート樹脂、ポリエチレンナフタレート樹脂、高密度ポリエチレン樹脂、および、塩化ビニル樹脂、金属の何れかによって構成される円筒状の第2パイプを有し、
前記第1流路部材には、前記第1流路に連通し、前記交差方向に沿う第2貫通孔が設けられ、
前記第2パイプは、前記第2貫通孔の内周面に前記第2パイプの外周面が密着するようにして、前記第2貫通孔の内部に配置されており、
前記第2パイプの内周面が、前記第1流路に連通し、前記交差方向に沿う第3流路を画定することを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の流路構造体。 - 請求項1乃至19の何れか一項に記載の流路構造体と、
前記流路構造体の流路と連通し、液体を噴射するノズルと、
を備えることを特徴とする、液体噴射ヘッド。 - 請求項1乃至19の何れか一項に記載の流路構造体と、
前記流路構造体の前記第1流路と連通し、液体を噴射するノズルと、
前記流路構造体へ液体を供給する液体供給部と、
を備えることを特徴とする、液体噴射装置。 - フィルムを有するフィルム部材と、樹脂で構成され凹部を有する樹脂部材と、を有する第1流路部材、および、前記第1流路部材に積層される第2流路部材、によって画定される流路を備える流路構造体の製造方法であって、
前記フィルムを加熱しながら折り曲げることによって、前記フィルムに前記凹部に対応する凹凸を形成して前記フィルム部材を作成し、
前記フィルム部材を金型に固定し、前記樹脂を前記金型に射出して成形することによって、前記凹凸と前記凹部とが対応するように前記フィルム部材と前記樹脂部材とが一体成形された前記第1流路部材を作成し、
前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材との積層方向において、前記凹部と重なる領域内で、前記フィルム部材と前記第2流路部材とが、前記流路の少なくとも一部を画定するように、前記第1流路部材と前記第2流路部材とを接着することを特徴とする、
流路構造体の製造方法。
