Claims (4)
- 基部と、前記基部から突出した凸部とを有するワークの上方に、開口を有するスクリーンを配置して、前記開口を通してゴムシール形成用の液状材料を前記凸部の頂部に塗布するゴムシールの製造方法であって、
前記基部のうち前記凸部の隣接位置において、前記スクリーンと前記ワークとの間にストッパ部を配置した状態で、前記スクリーンの面方向に沿ってスキージを移動させ、前記頂部に前記液状材料を塗布するに際し、
前記ストッパ部の厚みは、前記凸部の高さの60%~95%であり、
前記開口の縁から前記ストッパ部までの間隔は、前記開口の幅に対して10%~50%の範囲に設定され、
前記ストッパ部の幅は、前記凸部の幅よりも幅広に設定されている
ゴムシールの製造方法。 - 請求項1記載のゴムシールの製造方法において、
前記ストッパ部は、前記スクリーン又は前記ワークに接合されている
ゴムシールの製造方法。 - 請求項1又は2記載のゴムシールの製造方法において、
前記ワークは、燃料電池に適用される金属セパレータであり、
前記金属セパレータは、当該金属セパレータの面から突出し且つ当該金属セパレータに一体成形された前記凸部であるビードベース上に、前記ゴムシールが形成される
ゴムシールの製造方法。 - 請求項3記載のゴムシールの製造方法において、
前記金属セパレータは、前記燃料電池の発電時に反応ガスを流通させる反応ガス流路を有し、
前記スキージは、前記金属セパレータの前記反応ガスの流通方向に沿って移動する
ゴムシールの製造方法。
