Claims (6)
- 半固体表面から生体サンプルを採取する自動方法であって、
ピペットチップを受けるようになっているロボットピペッターを準備することと、
前記ピペットチップを、対象のコロニーが配置されている半固体表面に接触するまで下降させて、前記ピペットチップが前記対象のコロニーと接触するようにすることと、
前記ピペットチップを、前記対象のコロニーを支持する前記半固体表面と接触するまで更に前進させ、それにより、前記半固体表面とのシールを形成することと、
エアアシストを用いて前記半固体表面上に配置された前記対象のコロニーから生体サンプルの一部を採取することと、
前記半固体表面及び前記対象のコロニーと接触する状態から前記ピペットチップを後退させることと、
前記ピペットチップをベッセル内に配置された流体と接触させることと、
前記ピペットチップから前記ベッセル内に配置された前記流体中に内容物の一部を分注し、次いで、前記生体サンプルの少なくとも一部を前記ピペットチップ内に引き戻し、それにより、前記ピペットチップによって採取される前記生体サンプルの一部に剪断力をもたらすことと、
前記ピペットチップから前記ベッセル内に配置された前記流体中に前記生体サンプルの少なくとも一部をエアアシストを用いて分注することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記半固体表面は、栄養培地の表面である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ピペットチップの静電容量を監視することを更に含み、監視される静電容量の変化は、前記ピペットチップと前記対象のコロニーとの間の接触を示す、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 静電容量の変化によって前記ピペットチップと前記生体サンプルとの間の接触が示されるまで、前記ピペットチップの静電容量の監視を続けることを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記ピペットチップは、前記生体サンプルを採取する開口を有し、該開口は、約0.2mm~約0.7mmの内径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内径は、約0.2mm~約0.5mmであり、外径は、約1.2mmまでである、請求項5に記載の方法。
