Abstract

tem-se um dispositivo para a coleta de uma amostra biológica a partir de uma superfície semi-sólida. o dispositivo apresenta um eixo mecânico contendo uma extremidade próxima e uma extremidade afastada e uma ponta integrada com o eixo mecânico junto à extremidade próxima. a ponta apresenta uma superfície adaptada para coletar microrganismos na mesma ou liberar os microrganismos da mesma, ou ambas coisas, sendo que a superfície adaptada compreende de pelo menos uma característica quanto a um recuo ou extensão para aumentar a área de superfície da ponta e coletar os microrganismos a partir da mesma. exemplos de tais fatores incluem micro-características apresentando dimensões de em torno de 1000 µm ou menos. outros exemplos incluem uma ponta de pipeta.
