Claims (20)
- セルロース系の溶着された編織糸基材の製造方法であって
a.少なくとも2種の繊維をその中に有するセルロース系編織糸基材を提供する工程;
b.前記セルロース系編織糸基材にプロセス溶媒を適用してプロセス湿潤基材を作製する工程であって、前記プロセス溶媒は、前記セルロース系編織糸基材中のセルロースポリマーを膨潤及び可動化する能力があり、前記プロセス溶媒は、極性プロトン性溶媒とイオン液体との混合物であり、かつ前記プロセス溶媒の前記セルロース系編織糸基材に対する質量比は4:1以下である、工程;
c.少なくとも前記2種の繊維が互いに溶着されるように、少なくとも、前記プロセス溶媒が前記プロセス湿潤基材と相互作用する温度及び特定の持続時間を制御する工程であって、前記特定の持続時間は30秒以下であり、これにより前記少なくとも2種の繊維は互いに溶着される、工程;及び、
d.前記プロセス溶媒の少なくとも一部を前記プロセス湿潤基材から除去する工程
を含む、方法。 - 前記方法は、前記セルロース系編織糸基材に前記プロセス溶媒が適用された後、前記基材が非直線的に移動するものとして更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒は、3-エチル-1-メチルイミダゾリウム酢酸塩を含むものとして更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記極性プロトン性溶媒は、水として更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒は、80℃~120℃の温度で前記基材に適用されるものとして更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒の少なくとも前記一部を前記プロセス湿潤基材から除去する前記工程は、再構成溶媒を介して実施されて再構成湿潤基材を製造するものとして更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒の少なくとも前記一部を前記プロセス湿潤基材から除去する前記工程の後に、前記再構成湿潤基材を乾燥する工程を更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒を適用する前記工程は、インジェクタを介して実施されるものとして更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも前記プロセス溶媒が前記プロセス湿潤基材と相互作用する前記温度及び前記特定の持続時間を制御する前記工程の間の前記温度は、前記プロセス溶媒を適用する前記工程中の前記プロセス溶媒の最初の温度よりも高い、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒は、ジメチルスルホキシドを含むものとして更に定義される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 編織糸を改良する方法であって、
a.セルロース系編織糸基材を提供する工程;
b.前記セルロース系編織糸基材にプロセス溶媒を適用してプロセス湿潤基材を製造する工程であって、前記プロセス溶媒は、極性プロトン性溶媒とイオン液体との混合物である、工程;
c.少なくとも、前記プロセス溶媒が前記プロセス湿潤基材と相互作用する温度及び特定の持続時間を制御する工程であって、前記特定の持続時間は30秒以下である、工程;及び、
d.前記プロセス溶媒の少なくとも一部を前記プロセス湿潤基材から除去して、前記セルロース系編織糸基材の少なくとも第1の繊維をその第2の繊維に溶着する工程
を含む、方法。 - 前記溶着された基材のテナシティは、前記セルロース系基材の対応する機械的強度の10%よりも大きい、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記溶着された基材の直径は、前記セルロース系基材の直径よりも少なくとも25%小さい、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記溶着された基材のテナシティは、前記セルロース系編織糸基材のテナシティよりも少なくとも20%大きい、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記溶着された基材のテナシティは、前記セルロース系編織糸基材のテナシティよりも少なくとも30%大きく、前記溶着された編織糸基材は、少なくとも2.0%の破断前伸びを有するものとして更に定義される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- セルロース系の溶着された編織糸基材の製造方法であって、
a.複数の繊維をその中に有するセルロース系編織糸基材を提供する工程;
b.前記セルロース系編織糸基材にプロセス溶媒を適用してプロセス湿潤基材を作製する工程であって、前記プロセス溶媒は、極性プロトン性溶媒とイオン液体との混合物であって、1mol未満の前記プロトン性溶媒対1.00molの前記イオン液体というモル比を有する混合物である、工程;
c.前記プロセス溶媒が前記基材と相互作用する度合を、前記方法の粘性抵抗を調節することによって制御する工程であって、前記粘性抵抗は、少なくとも、前記プロセス溶媒の粘度と前記セルロース系編織糸基材又は前記プロセス湿潤基材に適用された機械的力との積である、工程;
d.前記複数のうちの少なくとも前記2種の繊維が互いに溶着されるように、少なくとも、前記プロセス溶媒が前記プロセス湿潤基材と相互作用する温度及び前記特定の持続時間を制御する工程であって、前記特定の持続時間は30秒以下である、工程;及び、
e.前記プロセス溶媒の少なくとも一部を前記プロセス湿潤基材から除去する工程
を含む、方法。 - 前記プロセス溶媒を前記基材に適用する前記工程は、インジェクタを用いるものとして更に定義される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記基材は、綿からなる原糸基材として更に定義される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒は、ジメチルスルホキシドを含むものとして更に定義される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセス溶媒は、ジメチルスルホキシドを含むものとして更に定義される、請求項16に記載の方法。
