Description
本出願は、2020年4月2日に出願された米国特許非仮出願第16/838197号の優先権を主張するものであり、その開示内容は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本開示は、全般的に、トルクコンバータおよび自動車のトランスミッションにおいて使用される摩擦クラッチおよびプレートに関し、より具体的には、湿式摩擦材に関する。
湿式摩擦材を製造する方法が提供される。本方法は、フィラー粒子と繊維とを一緒に混ぜてベースを形成することと、ベースの外面を第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液でコーティングすることと、第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液を乾燥させて、第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングをベースの外面上に形成することと、を含む。

Claims (20)
- 湿式摩擦材を製造する方法であって、
フィラー粒子と繊維とを一緒に混ぜてベースを形成することと、
前記ベースの外面を、第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液でコーティングすることと、
前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液を乾燥させて、第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングを前記ベースの前記外面上に形成することと、を含む方法。 - 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液の前記乾燥後、前記ベースの内部をベースバインダで飽和させることを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液は、第四級アンモニウム塩と、溶液バインダと、水と、を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液は、フィラー粒子を更に含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液は、0.5~5.0重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、0.5~5.0重量%の溶液バインダと、0~30重量%のフィラー粒子と、60~98重量%の水と、を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記ベースの前記外面を前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液で前記コーティングすることは、前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液を前記ベースの前記外面上に噴霧、刷毛塗り、またはローラ塗布することを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ベースの前記外面を前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液で前記コーティングすることは、前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液を前記ベースの前記外面上に噴霧することを含み、前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液は、0.5~2.5重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、0.5~2.5重量%の溶液バインダと、2.5~15重量%のフィラー粒子と、80~98重量%の水と、を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ベースの前記外面を前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液で前記コーティングすることは、前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液を前記ベースの前記外面上に、ローラ塗布または刷毛塗りすることを含み、前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液は、2.0~5.0重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、2.0~5.0重量%の溶液バインダと、10~30重量%のフィラー粒子と、60~86重量%の水と、を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングは、10~50重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、10~50重量%の溶液バインダと、0~80重量%のフィラー粒子と、を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングは、12.5~25重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、12.5~25重量%の溶液バインダと、50~75重量%のフィラー粒子と、を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液バインダは、ナノセルロース、グアーガム、またはアクリル系エマルションである、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 摩擦クラッチの部品を製造する方法であって、
前記湿式摩擦材を請求項1に記載の方法によって製造することと、
前記湿式摩擦材を前記摩擦クラッチの金属部品に固定することと、前記ベースの前記外面を前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液で前記コーティングすることと、前記金属部品への前記湿式摩擦材の前記固定の前または後に実施される、前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有溶液を前記乾燥させることと、を含む、方法。 - 湿式摩擦材であって、
繊維のマトリックスと、前記繊維のマトリックスに埋め込まれたフィラー粒子と、を含むベースと、
前記ベースの内部に埋め込まれたバインダと、
前記ベースの外面上の第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングと、を含む、湿式摩擦材。 - 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングは、第四級アンモニウム塩と、溶液バインダと、を含む、請求項13に記載の湿式摩擦材。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングは、フィラー粒子を更に含む、請求項14に記載の湿式摩擦材。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングは、10~50重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、10~50重量%の溶液バインダと、0~80重量%のフィラー粒子と、を含む、請求項14に記載の湿式摩擦材。
- 前記第四級アンモニウム塩含有コーティングは、12.5~25重量%の第四級アンモニウム塩と、12.5~25重量%の溶液バインダと、50~75重量%のフィラー粒子と、を含む、請求項16に記載の湿式摩擦材。
- 前記溶液バインダは、ナノセルロース、グアーガム、またはアクリル系エマルションである、請求項14に記載の湿式摩擦材。
- 前記ベースは、
単一層、または、
支持層および外層であって、前記支持層は、ある割合の第1の繊維材料およびある割合の第1のフィラー材料を含み、前記外層は、ある割合の第2の繊維材料およびある割合の第2のフィラー材料を含み、前記第2の繊維材料の前記割合は、前記第1の繊維材料の前記割合よりも小さく、前記第2のフィラー材料の前記割合は、前記第1のフィラー材料の前記割合よりも大きい、支持層および外層、を含む、請求項13に記載の湿式摩擦材。 - クラッチアセンブリであって、
金属部品と、
前記金属部品上に固定された請求項13に記載の前記湿式摩擦材と、を備える、クラッチアセンブリ。
