表2の配合割合(体積%)で配合した樹脂組成物を用い、射出成形によって曲げ試験片、および摩耗試験片(リング試験片)をそれぞれ作製した。比較例1のPTFE樹脂を用いた場合は、圧縮成形によって各試験片を作製した。

実施例4~9および比較例5に用いた充填材を以下に一括して示す。GRP-1~3、PTFE-1の平均粒子径は、レーザー光散乱法を利用した粒子径分布測定装置により得られた50%粒子径である。

Claims (5)
- 内燃機関からの冷却水を受け入れる導入部、及び、冷却水を送り出す吐出部を有するハウジングと、前記ハウジングの内部に設けられ、球状または円筒状の外周面を有し、前記ハウジングに対して回転する樹脂製のロータとを備える流量制御バルブ装置に用いられ、
前記ハウジング内にて前記ロータと前記導入部または前記吐出部との間に設けられ、前記ロータの外周面に摺接する環状の流量制御バルブ用シールであって、
前記流量制御バルブ用シールが射出成形可能なフッ素樹脂をベース樹脂とする樹脂組成物からなり、
前記フッ素樹脂がテトラフルオロエチレン-パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体樹脂、テトラフルオロエチレン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体樹脂、およびテトラフルオロエチレン-エチレン共重合体樹脂から選ばれる少なくとも1つの樹脂であり、
前記樹脂組成物は、非繊維状充填材を含み、繊維状充填材を含まず、
前記非繊維状充填材は、PH7~11の水溶液に耐性があることを特徴とする流量制御バルブ用シール。 - 前記非繊維状充填材が、黒鉛、PTFE樹脂、マイカ、タルクまたは炭酸カルシウムのいずれか一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の流量制御バルブ用シール。
- 前記樹脂組成物において、前記非繊維状充填材が該樹脂組成物全体に対して3~30体積%含まれ、残部が前記フッ素樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項2記載の流量制御バルブ用シール。
- 前記流量制御バルブ用シールは、前記ロータと摺接する環状のシール面に、シール全周にわたり連続した円周状突起を有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項記載の流量制御バルブ用シール。
- 内燃機関からの冷却水を受け入れる導入部、及び、冷却水を送り出す吐出部を有するハウジングと、前記ハウジングの内部に設けられ、球状または円筒状の外周面を有し、前記ハウジングに対して回転する樹脂製のロータと、前記ハウジング内にて前記ロータと前記導入部または前記吐出部との間に設けられ、前記ロータの外周面に摺接する環状の流量制御バルブ用シールとを備える流量制御バルブ装置であって、
前記流量制御バルブ用シールが射出成形可能なフッ素樹脂をベース樹脂とする樹脂組成物からなり、前記フッ素樹脂がテトラフルオロエチレン-パーフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体樹脂、テトラフルオロエチレン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体樹脂、およびテトラフルオロエチレン-エチレン共重合体樹脂から選ばれる少なくとも1つの樹脂であり、
前記樹脂組成物は、非繊維状充填材を含み、繊維状充填材を含まず、
前記非繊維状充填材は、PH7~11の水溶液に耐性があり、
前記ロータがポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂をベース樹脂とする樹脂組成物からなることを特徴とする流量制御バルブ装置。
