Claims (3)
- 回路基板に実装されるとともに、前後方向に延びる帯状の平型導体の前端側部分が電気的に接続される平型導体用電気コネクタであって、
金属板部材をその板厚方向に屈曲した形状をなす複数の端子と、上記帯幅方向を端子配列方向として配列された上記複数の端子をインサート成形により保持するハウジングとを有する平型導体用電気コネクタにおいて、
上記複数の端子は、前後方向の少なくとも一方の端部に、上記ハウジングに保持される被保持部と、上記ハウジングから延出し回路基板へ半田実装される実装部が形成された延出部とを有し、互いに隣接する上記被保持部同士及び互いに隣接する上記延出部同士が上記前後方向で重複する範囲をもって、上記端子配列方向に配列して位置し、
上記延出部は、上記端子配列方向で一つもしくは離間して複数に形成されており、前後方向でハウジング外に位置する部分のうち少なくともハウジング側に位置する端部に、上記端子配列方向の端子幅が上記被保持部の端子幅よりも狭い幅狭部を有し、上記延出部の側縁に凹部としての開口部が上記幅狭部によって形成されており、
任意の延出部の上記幅狭部と該幅狭部に対して上記開口部を挟んで隣接する他の延出部との間隔が、互いに隣接する上記被保持部同士の間隔よりも大きくなっていることを特徴とする平型導体用電気コネクタ。 - 上記端子は、上記平型導体を平型導体の厚み方向で挟持する第一端子部材と第二端子部材とを有し、上記第一端子部材の第一延出部と上記第二端子部材の第二延出部とで上記延出部を形成し、上記第一延出部と上記第二延出部の少なくとも一方に上記幅狭部が形成されていることとする請求項1に記載の平型導体用電気コネクタ。
- 上記第一延出部の側縁と上記第二延出部の側縁に、端子配列方向で対向した凹部により開口部が形成されていることとする請求項2に記載の平型導体用電気コネクタ。
