Description
具体的には、本実施例では、断熱部にバインダーなしに機能性充填材を高密度に充填させることによって、機能性充填材本来の高い断熱効果を有する断熱素子を実現することができる。
図1を参照すれば、一実施例によるバッテリ用断熱素子1000は、順次に積層された第1カバー層10、第2カバー層20、および第3カバー層30を含む。
第1カバー層10は、第1ホール11を含む。
第2カバー層20は、前記第1カバー層10の一面に付着し、第2ホール21を含む。
第3カバー層30は、第2カバー層20において第1カバー層10の付着した面の反対面に位置する。
このとき、第3カバー層30は、第2カバー層20に付着した構造であってもよく、付着しない構造であってもよい。
第1カバー層として厚さ25μmのナイロンフィルム、第2カバー層として厚さ40μmのアルミニウム層、第3カバー層として120g/m2の密度および0.4mmの厚さを有するガラス繊維マット(glass fiber chopped mat)を用意した。
第1および第2カバー層を付着させた後、3.5mmの間隔で平均直径が10μmである第1ホールおよび第2ホールを第1および第2カバー層に形成した。
次に、第2カバー層において第1カバー層の付着した反対面に第3カバー層を位置させた外装材を2つを用意した後、第2カバー層の周縁に密封部を形成して2つの外装材を密封した。
次に、密封された外装材内部の断熱部にエアロゲル粉末の密度が0.114g/cm3となるように充填して、平均厚さが2mmの断熱素子を製造した。このとき、前記エアロゲル粉末の平均粒径は20μmであった。
断熱部にエアロゲル粉末の密度が0.141g/cm3となるように充填したことを除けば、実施例1と同様の方法で断熱素子を製造した。
断熱部にエアロゲル粉末の密度が0.057g/cm3となるように充填したことを除けば、実施例1と同様の方法で断熱素子を製造した。
断熱部にエアロゲル粉末の密度が0.171g/cm3となるように充填したことを除けば、実施例1と同様の方法で断熱素子を製造した。
厚さが2mmの雲母(MICA)シートを用意した。
厚さが8mmのガラスマット(E-glass mat)を用意した後、厚さが2mmとなるように圧着した。
実施例1~2、参考例1~2および比較例1~2により製造された断熱素子に対して、断熱性能を測定した。
具体的には、Dulytek(US)社のホットプレス(DHP7 V4 HYDRAULIC HEAT PRESS)装置とYOKOGAWA(JP)社のテンプレコーダー(FX1000)を用いた。
前記装置は上部ホットプレートおよび下部ホットプレートを含み、上部ホットプレートは200℃に昇温させて維持し、下部ホットプレートは25℃となるようにセッティングした。
次に、前記上部プレートおよび下部プレートの間に、実施例1~2、参考例1~2および比較例1~2による断熱素子を位置させた後、一定時間が経過した後、下部ホットプレートに位置した断熱素子の温度を測定した。結果は図3~図8に示した。

Claims (27)
- 熱が移動可能な通路の役割を果たすように構成された第1ホール(11)を含む第1カバー層(10)と、
前記第1カバー層(10)の一面に付着し、熱が移動可能な通路の役割を果たすように構成された第2ホール(21)を含む第2カバー層(20)と、
前記第2カバー層(20)において前記第1カバー層(10)の付着した面の反対面に位置する第3カバー層(30)と
を含む断熱素子(1000、2000)であって、
前記断熱素子は、前記第3カバー層の内側空間に断熱部(50)を含み、
前記断熱部は、前記断熱素子の断熱性能を向上させるように構成された機能性充填材を含み、
前記機能性充填材は、該機能性充填材の100重量部を基準としたときにエアロゲル粉末を50重量部~100重量部の範囲で含み、
前記断熱部に含まれる機能性充填材の充填密度は、0.05g/cm 3 ~0.20g/cm 3 の範囲である、
バッテリ用断熱素子。 - 前記第1カバー層(10)の平均厚さ又は前記第2カバー層(20)の平均厚さは、10μm~50μmの範囲である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第1カバー層(10)は、ポリイミド(Polyimide、PI)フィルム、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(Polyethylene terephthanlate、PET)フィルム、シクロオレフィンポリマー(Cyclo olefin polymer、COP)フィルム、未延伸ポリプロピレン(casting polypropylene、CPP)フィルム、およびナイロンフィルムのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記断熱部に含まれる機能性充填材の充填密度は、0.10g/cm 3 ~0.15g/cm 3 の範囲である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第2カバー層(20)は、アルミニウムおよび雲母のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第3カバー層(30)の平均厚さは、0.1mm~1.5mmの範囲である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第3カバー層(30)は、ガラス繊維、シリカウール、ミネラルウール、セラミックウール、そして製織繊維および不織布繊維のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第3カバー層(30)は、30g/m2~200g/m2の範囲の密度を有する素材から構成されたものである、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記断熱素子の平均厚さは、4mm以下である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第2カバー層(20)の周縁に位置する密封部(40)で前記第1カバー層、前記第2カバー層、及び前記第3カバー層が付着している、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子(1000)。
- 前記密封部は、アクリル系接着剤、シリコーン系接着剤、ゴム系接着剤、ポリフタレート接着剤、PPA接着剤(acid modified polypropylene)、およびPEA接着剤(acid modified polyethylene)のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項10に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第1ホールの平均直径は、15μm以下である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第1カバー層は、前記第1ホールを複数個含み、
前記第1ホール間の間隔は、0.5cm以下である、請求項12に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。 - 前記第2ホールの平均直径は、15μm以下である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第2カバー層は、前記第2ホールを複数個含み、
前記第2ホール間の間隔は、0.5cm以下である、請求項14に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。 - 前記第1ホールおよび前記第2ホールは、1回の工程で通孔されたものである、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記機能性充填材は、ヒュームドシリカおよびガラスバブルのうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記機能性充填材の平均粒径は、100μm以下である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記断熱部は、第1添加材をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第1添加材は、二酸化チタン(TiO2)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、および水酸化鉄(Fe2O3 )のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項19に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第1添加材の含有量は、前記機能性充填材100重量部に対して、1重量部~20重量部の範囲である、請求項19に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記断熱部は、第2添加材をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第2添加材は、マグネシウムヒドロキシド(Magnesium hydroxide、MDH)、アルミニウムヒドロキシド(Aluminum hydroxide、ATH)、ホウ酸亜鉛(Zinc Borate)、GREP-EG(graphite)、および三酸化アンチモン(Antimony Trioxide)のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項22に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第2添加材の含有量は、前記機能性充填材100重量部に対して、1重量部~20重量部の範囲である、請求項22に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記第2カバー層(20)および前記第3カバー層(30)の間に位置する接着層を介して前記第2カバー層(20)および前記第3カバー層(30)が付着している、請求項1に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子(2000)。
- 前記接着層は、ポリエステルフィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム、ポリウレタンフィルム、エチレンビニルアセテート(EVA)フィルム、ポリオレフィンフィルム、ポリアミドフィルム、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルム、およびアクリレートフィルムのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項25に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
- 前記接着層は、第3ホール(71)を含み、
前記第3ホールは、前記第1ホール(11)および前記第2ホール(21)と1回の工程で形成されたものである、請求項26に記載のバッテリ用断熱素子。
