Description
回転機械の駆動時に相対回転する箇所に配置される互いに対向する環であり、
対向する前記環の対向面のうち少なくとも一方には、当該対向面の少なくとも一部を構成する凸状の曲面部が形成されている。
これによれば、いずれか一方の環の対向面が回転の慣性力などにより軸方向に傾くように変形した際において、一方の環の対向面に形成された凸状の曲面部と、対向する他方の環の対向面とが近接した状態で、環同士の間で径方向に有効な対向領域を確保でき、様々な条件下において安定した摺動性能を発揮することができる。
これによれば、全周に亘って有効な対向領域を確保できる。
これによれば、他方の環が変形しても変形が顕著である外径端や内径端において、環同士の間で径方向に有効な対向領域を確保することができ、また仮に対向面同士が接触する際も線接触することなく、面での接触とさせることができる。
これによれば、一方の環の対向面に形成された凸状の曲面部と、対向する他方の環の対向面とが近接した状態で、環同士の間で径方向に有効な対向領域を確実に確保できる。
これによれば、静止側の環は使用時の形状を予測しやすいため、回転側の環の変形度合いに対して、高い精度で有効な対向領域を確保できる。
これによれば、環同士の間で径方向に確保された有効な対向領域において、機能溝による例えば動圧発生等の機能を確実に発揮させることができる。
これによれば、回転側の環の変形度合いに関わらずに、機能溝による機能を発揮させることができる。
これによれば、径方向に複数形成された段部に流体が保持され、環同士の対向面間に流体膜を形成しやすく、高い摺動性を確保できる。

Claims (7)
- 回転機械の駆動時に相対回転する箇所に配置される互いに対向する環であり、
対向する前記環の対向面のうち少なくとも一方には、当該対向面の少なくとも一部を構成する凸状の曲面部が形成されており、
一方の前記環の対向面に形成された前記曲面部は、他方の前記環の対向面より曲率半径が小さい摺動部品。 - 前記曲面部は前記環の対向面の周方向に亘って形成されている請求項1に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記曲面部は前記環の外径端と内径端との少なくとも一方に形成されている請求項2に記載の摺動部品。
- 静止側の前記環の対向面に前記曲面部が形成されている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記曲面部と該曲面部と対向する前記対向面とのいずれか一方もしくは両方に軸方向に開口する機能溝が形成されている請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記機能溝は前記曲面部の表面形状に平行な底面を有して同じ深さで径方向に複数形成されている請求項5に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記曲面部は、前記対向面の周方向に沿うように径方向に複数形成された段部により構成されている請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
