Description
電源を受容するように構成された電源キャビティであり、第1の長手方向軸を画定する電源キャビティを画定するハウジングと、
ハウジングと係合され、エアロゾル前駆体組成物を含むカートリッジが第2の長手方向軸に沿って延在するようにカートリッジに係合するように構成されたカプラと
を備え、
第1の長手方向軸と第2の長手方向軸は、非同軸であり、互いに実質的に平行に配向される、エアロゾル送達装置。
電源を受容するように構成された電源キャビティであって、第1の長手方向軸を画定する電源キャビティを画定するハウジングを提供するステップと、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物を含むカートリッジに係合するように構成されたカプラを、カートリッジが第2の長手方向軸に沿って延在するようにハウジングと係合させるステップであって、
第1の長手方向軸と第2の長手方向軸は、非同軸であり、互いに実質的に平行に配向される、係合ステップと、
電源に係合するように構成されたコントローラをハウジング内に位置決めするステップと
を含む方法。
Claims (21)
- エアロゾル送達装置であって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングにより画定された電源キャビティ及びその中に配置された電源であって、前記電源キャビティが第1の長手方向軸を画定する、前記電源キャビティ及び前記電源と、
前記ハウジング内に位置し、エアロゾル前駆体組成物を含む円筒状のカートリッジが第2の長手方向軸に沿って延在するように前記カートリッジを少なくとも部分的に受容するように構成されたカートリッジキャビティを画定するカプラ部であって、前記第1の長手方向軸と前記第2の長手方向軸は非同軸であって互いに実質的に平行とされている、前記カプラ部と、を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記カートリッジを前記電源キャビティから少なくとも部分的に分離する隔壁を備え、
前記カートリッジキャビティの前記第2の長手方向軸と直交する断面のサイズと形状は、前記カートリッジの断面のサイズと形状と実質的に一致する、エアロゾル送達装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、複数のピースを備える、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、第1の部分及び第2の部分を有する本体部を備え、前記隔壁は前記本体部内に配置されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記隔壁は、前記第1及び第2の長手方向軸に対して横に配向されている、請求項3に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、開閉扉をさらに備える、請求項4に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記カートリッジを受容するように構成された開口部を画定している、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記エアロゾル前駆体組成物を気化させるように構成された発熱部品をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記発熱部品と電気的に接続されたコントローラをさらに備える、請求項7に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジングと係合されたボタンアセンブリであって、前記ハウジング上に又は前記ハウジング内に配置されて前記エアロゾル送達装置の動作状態を示すように構成された照明源と電気的に接続されている、前記ボタンアセンブリをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- エアロゾル送達装置であって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングにより画定された電源キャビティ及びその中に配置された電源であって、前記電源キャビティが第1の長手方向軸を画定する、前記電源キャビティ及び前記電源と、
前記ハウジング内に位置し、エアロゾル前駆体組成物を含む円筒状のカートリッジが第2の長手方向軸に沿って延在するように前記カートリッジを少なくとも部分的に受容するように構成されたカートリッジキャビティを画定するカプラ部であって、前記第1の長手方向軸と前記第2の長手方向軸は非同軸であって互いに実質的に平行とされている、前記カプラ部と、
前記ハウジングと係合されたボタンアセンブリであって、前記ハウジング内に配置されて前記エアロゾル送達装置の動作状態を示す光を出力するように構成された照明源と電気的に接続されている、前記ボタンアセンブリと、を備え、
前記カートリッジキャビティの前記第2の長手方向軸と直交する断面のサイズと形状は、前記カートリッジの断面のサイズと形状と実質的に一致する、エアロゾル送達装置。 - 前記ボタンアセンブリは、前記カートリッジを前記電源キャビティから少なくとも部分的に分離する壁を少なくとも部分的に画定している、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、第1の部分及び第2の部分を有する本体部と、前記本体部内に配置され、前記カートリッジを前記電源キャビティから少なくとも部分的に分離するように構成された隔壁と、を有する、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ボタンアセンブリは、
前記ハウジング内に配置されたスイッチと、
前記ハウジングに対して移動可能に結合され、前記エアロゾル送達装置の少なくとも1つの動作を制御するよう前記スイッチを作動させるように構成されたアクチュエータと、を備える、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。 - 前記ボタンアセンブリは、照明源カバーをさらに備える、請求項13に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記動作状態は、オンオフ状態、前記電源の状態、充電状態、電力出力レベル、エアロゾル前駆体組成物レベル、又は前記装置を通る空気流の検出のうちの一又は複数を含む、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記照明源は、複数の色、照明持続時間、周波数、又は強度のうちの一又は複数の使用によって前記装置の動作状態を示すように構成された少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを備える、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記エアロゾル前駆体組成物を気化させるように構成された発熱部品をさらに備える、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記発熱部品と電気的に接続されたコントローラをさらに備える、請求項17に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 前記ボタンアセンブリは、前記電源から前記発熱部品へ方向付けられた電力出力レベルを制御するように構成されている、請求項17に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- エアロゾル送達装置であって、
少なくとも1つの比較的平坦な外面を備えるハウジングであって、電源を受容するように構成されると共に第1の長手方向軸を画定する電源キャビティを画定する、前記ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に位置し、エアロゾル前駆体組成物を含む円筒状のカートリッジを少なくとも部分的に受容するように構成されたカートリッジキャビティを画定するカプラ部であって、前記カートリッジキャビティは第2の長手方向軸を画定し、前記第1の長手方向軸と前記第2の長手方向軸は非同軸であって互いに実質的に平行とされている、前記カプラ部と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、前記エアロゾル前駆体組成物を気化させるように構成された発熱部品と、
前記ハウジングと係合されたボタンアセンブリであって、前記ハウジング上に又は前記ハウジング内に配置されて前記エアロゾル送達装置の動作状態を示すように構成された照明源と電気的に接続されている、前記ボタンアセンブリと、を備え、
前記カートリッジキャビティの前記第2の長手方向軸と直交する断面のサイズと形状は、前記カートリッジの断面のサイズと形状と実質的に一致する、エアロゾル送達装置。 - 前記カートリッジをさらに備える、請求項1~20のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
