Description
[1]軸受とシール部とが内部に配置された、高温物体を支持または搬送するための回転ロールの軸受箱であって、
前記軸受の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部及び前記シール部の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部を含むように、軸受箱の外周側に冷却ジャケットが配置され、
前記冷却ジャケットは、冷却水導入口及び冷却水排出口を有し、
前記冷却水導入口から、前記冷却ジャケットに供給された冷却水によって、前記軸受箱が冷却されるように構成されている、回転ロールの軸受箱。
[2]前記シール部の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットの少なくとも一部は、前記軸受の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットよりも径方向内側に配置される、上記[1]に記載の回転ロールの軸受箱。
[3]軸受とシール部とが内部に配置された、高温物体を支持または搬送するための回転ロールの軸受箱の冷却方法であって、
前記軸受の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部及び前記シール部の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部を含むように、軸受箱の外周側に冷却ジャケットを配置し、
前記冷却ジャケットに設けた冷却水導入口から、前記冷却ジャケットに冷却水を導入して前記軸受箱を冷却し、
前記軸受箱を冷却した後の前記冷却水を、前記冷却ジャケットに設けた冷却水排出口から排出する、回転ロールの軸受箱の冷却方法。
[4]前記シール部の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットの少なくとも一部は、前記軸受の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットよりも径方向内側に配置される、上記[3]に記載の回転ロールの軸受箱の冷却方法。
[5]上記[1]または上記[2]に記載の回転ロールの軸受箱に備えられた軸受で支持された1つ以上の回転ロールを用いて鋳片を支持または案内する、鋼の連続鋳造機。
[6]上記[5]に記載の鋼の連続鋳造機を用いて鋼鋳片を連続鋳造する、鋼の連続鋳造方法。
連続鋳造方法によって鋼のスラブ鋳片を製造する連続鋳造機の鋳片支持ロール(ガイドロール)の軸受箱で、軸受箱を冷却水によって冷却する試験を実施した。使用した連続鋳造機の仕様は、垂直部3.0m、10点曲げ(上部曲げ帯)、湾曲部曲率半径10.5m、6点矯正(下部矯正帯)、機長49.2mの垂直曲型スラブ連続鋳造機で、鋳片厚みが220mm、鋳片幅が675~2100mmのスラブ鋳片の製造が可能である。試験対象の軸受け箱は、表面温度が700~900℃の鋳片を支持する鋳片支持ロールの軸受箱であり、この軸受箱には、外径170mm、内径110mm、幅43mmの軸受(転がり軸受)が設置されている。
実施例1で使用した垂直曲げ型スラブ連続鋳造機を用い、鋳片表面温度が700℃から900℃までの間で、特に800℃において鋳片の延性が極小値を示す、即ち、鋳片表面に割れが生じやすい鋼を鋳造した。製造する鋳片の鋳片幅は当該連続鋳造機の最大幅である2100mmとした。このスラブ連続鋳造機の下部矯正帯において、ストランド上流側から下流側に向かって左側の鋳片幅方向端部に近い軸受箱は、図3に示す特許文献1に提案される軸受箱(従来型)とし、向かって右側の鋳片幅方向端部に近い軸受箱は、図2に示す本発明に係る軸受箱とした。尚、垂直曲げ型スラブ連続鋳造機の下部矯正帯では、鋳片表面に歪みが付与されて、鋳片表面に割れが発生する場合がある。

- 軸受とシール部とが内部に配置された、高温物体を支持または搬送するための回転ロールの軸受箱であって、
前記軸受の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部及び前記シール部の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部を含むように、軸受箱の外周側に冷却ジャケットが配置され、
前記冷却ジャケットは、冷却水導入口及び冷却水排出口を有し、
前記冷却水導入口から、前記冷却ジャケットに供給された冷却水によって、前記軸受箱が冷却されるように構成されており、
前記シール部の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットの外周の少なくとも一部は、前記軸受の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットの外周の少なくとも一部よりも径方向内側に配置される、回転ロールの軸受箱。 - 軸受とシール部とが内部に配置された、高温物体を支持または搬送するための回転ロールの軸受箱の冷却方法であって、
前記軸受の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部及び前記シール部の軸方向範囲の少なくとも一部を含むように、軸受箱の外周側に冷却ジャケットを配置し、
前記冷却ジャケットに設けた冷却水導入口から、前記冷却ジャケットに冷却水を導入して前記軸受箱を冷却し、
前記軸受箱を冷却した後の前記冷却水を、前記冷却ジャケットに設けた冷却水排出口から排出し、
前記シール部の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットの外周の少なくとも一部は、前記軸受の軸方向範囲の外周側に配置された冷却ジャケットの外周の少なくとも一部よりも径方向内側に配置される、回転ロールの軸受箱の冷却方法。 - 請求項1に記載の回転ロールの軸受箱に備えられた軸受で支持された1つ以上の回転ロールを用いて鋳片を支持または案内する、鋼の連続鋳造機。
- 請求項3に記載の鋼の連続鋳造機を用いて鋼鋳片を連続鋳造する、鋼の連続鋳造方法。
