1.希土類錯体の合成
1-1.配位子前駆体:6-ブロモクリセン
1H-NMR(400 MHz, CDCl3/TMS) δ/ppm = 9.07(s, 1H),8.80(d, 1H, J = 7.2 Hz), 8.71(dd, 2H, J = 9.6 Hz, 10 Hz), 8.45(d, 1H, J = 9.6Hz), 8.02(dd, 2H, J = 9.2 Hz, 6.0 Hz), 7.79-7.72(m, 3H), 7.68-7.65(m, 1H)

2-1.紫外可視光吸収
Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2及びEu(hfa)3(TPPO)2の紫外可視光吸収特性を、これらの重クロロホルム溶液を用いて測定した。図1は、Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2及びEu(hfa)3(TPPO)2の紫外可視光吸収スペクトルである。Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2は、最大約500000cm-1M-1という、Eu(III)錯体としては極めて大きなモル吸光係数を示した。
図2は、Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2の励起発光スペクトルである。励起スペクトルは、Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2のCDCl3溶液を用い、蛍光波長λemを610nmとして測定された。発光スペクトルは、Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2の粉体を用い、励起波長λexを380nmとして測定された。Eu(hfa)3(DPCO)2の365nmにおける一分子当たりの発光強度は、Eu(hfa)3(TPPO)2の既存のデータと比較して40倍以上であった。
図3は、Eu2(hfa)6(DPCO)2及びEu(hfa)3(TPPO)2の熱重量・示差熱分析の結果を示すグラフである。Eu2(hfa)6(DPCO)2が300℃を超える高い分解温度を示すことが確認された。
図4は、Eu2(hfa)6(DPCO)2の発光寿命と温度との関係を示すグラフである。Eu2(hfa)6(DPCO)2の発光寿命は温度に依存して大きく変化することが確認された。したがって、本発明の一側面に係る希土類錯体は、強発光特性とともに、温度検知の機能も有する。

1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3/TMS) δ/ppm = 9.06 (d, 1H, J = 9.6 Hz), 8.96 (d, 1H, J = 9.2 Hz), 8.90 (d, 1H, J = 8.4), 8.84 (d, 1H, J = 8.8 Hz), 8.72 (t, 2H, J = 8.4 Hz, 9.2 Hz), 7.96 (d, 1H, J = 8.0 Hz), 7.90 (d, 1H, J = 9.2 Hz), 7.83 (dd, 2H, J = 6.8 Hz, 1.2 Hz), 7.69-7.62 (m, 3H), 7.59-7.52 (m, 5H)

図5は、Eu(hfa)3(PIPO)2の励起発光スペクトルである。励起スペクトルは、Eu(hfa)3(PIPO)2のCHCl3溶液(9.8×10-5M)を用い、蛍光波長λemを610nmとして測定された。発光スペクトルは、Eu(hfa)3(PIPO)2の粉体を用い、励起波長λexを390nmとして測定された。Eu(hfa)3(PIPO)2の365nmにおける一分子当たりの発光強度は、Eu(hfa)3(TPPO)2の既存のデータと比較して20倍以上であった。

1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3/TMS) δ/ppm = 8.73 (d, 2H, J = 8.4 Hz), 8.63 (s, 1H), 8.59 (s, 1H), 8.08 (d, 2H, J = 8.4 Hz), 7.78 (dd, 8H, J = 4.0 Hz, 8.0 Hz), 7.63 (t, 4H, J = 8.0 Hz, 6.8 Hz), 7.58-7.49 (m, 12H)
ESI-MS: m/z calcd. for C42H31O2P2, [M+H]+ = 629.18; found: 629.18; elemental analysis calcd. (%) for C 80.12, H 4.96; found: C 79.97, H 4.66

図6は、[Eu(hfa)3(6,12-DPCO)]nの励起発光スペクトルである。励起スペクトルは、[Eu(hfa)3(6,12-DPCO)]nの粉体を用い、蛍光波長λemを610nmとして測定された。発光スペクトルは、[Eu(hfa)3(6,12-DPCO)]nの粉体を用い、励起波長λexを390nmとして測定された。単核錯体と同様に高輝度発光を示した。
Claims (12)
- 希土類イオンと、該希土類イオンに配位結合し縮合多環芳香族基を有する配位子と、を備え、
前記縮合多環芳香族基が、下記式(I)で表される縮合多環芳香族化合物から、縮合芳香環に結合する水素原子を除いた残基である、希土類錯体であって、
[式(I)中、R1及びR2は、水素原子、又は、互いに結合して1個の芳香環、若しくは2個以上の芳香環を含む縮合芳香環を形成している基を示し、式(I)で表される縮合多環芳香族化合物の縮合芳香環が置換基を有していてもよい。]
前記縮合多環芳香族基を有する配位子が、下記式(10)で表されるホスフィンオキシド配位子であり、
[式(10)中、Zは前記縮合多環芳香族基を示し、R11及びR12はそれぞれ独立に前記縮合多環芳香族基とは異なるアリール基を示す。]
当該希土類錯体が、前記希土類イオンに配位結合し下記式(21)で表されるジケトン配位子を更に備える、希土類錯体。
[式(21)中、R 23 、R 24 及びR 25 はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、アルキル基、ハロゲン化アルキル基、前記縮合多環芳香族基とは異なるアリール基、又はヘテロアリール基を示す。] - 希土類イオンと、該希土類イオンに配位結合し縮合多環芳香族基を有する配位子と、を備え、
前記縮合多環芳香族基が、下記式(I)で表される縮合多環芳香族化合物から、縮合芳香環に結合する水素原子を除いた残基である、希土類錯体であって、
[式(I)中、R1及びR2は、水素原子、又は、互いに結合して1個の芳香環、若しくは2個以上の芳香環を含む縮合芳香環を形成している基を示し、式(I)で表される縮合多環芳香族化合物の縮合芳香環が置換基を有していてもよい。]
当該希土類錯体が2個以上の前記希土類イオンを備え、
前記縮合多環芳香族基を有する配位子が、下記式(30)で表される二座のホスフィンオキシド配位子であり、該ホスフィンオキシド配位子が2個の前記希土類イオンに配位結合している、希土類錯体。
[式(30)中、Zは前記縮合多環芳香族基を示し、R 11 及びR 12 はそれぞれ独立に前記縮合多環芳香族基とは異なるアリール基を示す。] - 当該希土類錯体が、前記式(30)で表される二座のホスフィンオキシド配位子及び前記希土類イオンが交互に連結されることにより繰り返し構造を形成している、請求項2に記載の希土類錯体。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の希土類錯体を含有する、発光材料。
- 請求項5に記載の発光材料を含む、発光体。
- 請求項6に記載の発光体を備える、発光デバイス。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の希土類錯体を含む発光層を有する、合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 対向する2枚のガラス板と、
それらの間に配置された請求項8に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜と、
を備える、合わせガラス。 - 請求項9に記載の合わせガラスを有する、車両用フロントガラス。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の希土類錯体を含む、波長変換材料。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の希土類錯体を含む、セキュリティ材料。
