母材粉末は、誘電体の主成分であって、BamTiO3(0.995≦m≦1.010)系誘電体粉末を用いることができる。
第1副成分は、周期律表上の遷移金属でありながら第5族に該当し、BaTiO3のTi-siteに固溶されることができ、配位数(coordinate number)が6であるとき、配位数が6であるTi4+よりも小さいイオン半径を有する元素のうち少なくとも一つ以上の元素が、母材粉末100モル当たり0.3~1.2モル含むことができる。
第2副成分は、Siイオン、酸化物、炭化物、水和物のいずれかを、母材粉末100モルに対して0.6~3.5モル含むことができる。

- BamTiO3(0.995≦m≦1.010)を含む母材と、
遷移金属であり、周期律表の第5族に該当し、BaTiO3のTi-siteに固溶され、配位数(coordinate number)が6であるとき、配位数が6であるTi4+よりも小さいイオン半径を有する元素が、前記母材100モルに対して0.55~0.8モル含む第1副成分と、
前記母材100モルに対してSiイオン又は酸化物を0.6~3.5モル含む第2副成分と、
第3副成分と、
第4副成分と、を含み、
前記第3副成分が、Ca、Sr、及びBaを含むグループから選択された少なくとも一つ以上のイオン、酸化物、炭化物のいずれかを含み、
前記第4副成分がMgのイオン、酸化物、炭化物のいずれかを含み、
第2副成分の合計含有量をB、第3副成分の合計含有量をC、及び第4副成分の合計含有量をDと規定するとき、下記関係式1及び関係式2をともに満たす、誘電体組成物。
