Description
ポリウレタン接着剤の製造:
2,4-MDI、4,4’-MDI、及び2.7の平均イソシアネート官能価を有するMDIの高級多環式同族体の混合物378gを、最初に室温で装填し、開始剤としてのプロピレングリコール及び(エチレンオキシド及びプロピレンオキシドの含有量に基づいておよそ20%のエチレンオキシドを含有する)ポリエチレンオキシド-ポリプロピレンオキシドをベースとするポリオール(29.5mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有する)420gと、開始剤としてのグリセロール及び(エチレンオキシド及びプロピレンオキシドに基づいておよそ70%のエチレンオキシドを含有する)ポリプロピレンオキシド-ポリエチレンオキシドをベースとするポリオール(42mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有する)200gとを徐々に混合した。その後混合物を60℃に加熱し、60℃で2時間撹拌し、次いで40℃未満に冷却した。冷却後、0.5gのジグリコールビス(クロロホルメート)及び0.5gの85%オルトリン酸もイソシアネートプレポリマーに加えた。
予備形成体は、およそ18mmの厚さを有し、Owens Corning社の繊維織物Unifilo(登録商標)450で両側を覆われているハニカム板紙から製造した。得られたポリウレタン接着剤を、ロール付与プロセスにおいて75℃のローラー温度で、各場合とも330g/m2の量で、予備形成サンドイッチの上側と下側の両方に付与した。次いで、未完成のサンドイッチ構成要素の表面に、10質量%ナトリウムカーボネート溶液をおよそ100g/m2で噴霧した。続いて未完成のサンドイッチ要素を、120℃の型温度を有する型内で11mmの厚さ1及び2mmの厚さ2にプレスし、90秒後に脱型した。
2,4-MDI、4,4’-MDI、及び2.7の平均イソシアネート官能価を有するMDIの高級多環式同族体の混合物519gを、最初に室温で装填し、プロピレングリコールで開始したポリエチレンオキシド-ポリプロピレンオキシド(エチレンオキシド及びプロピレンオキシドの含有量に基づいておよそ20%のエチレンオキシドを含有し、そして、29.5mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有する)325g、及びグリセロールで開始したポリプロピレンオキシド-ポリエチレンオキシド155g(エチレンオキシド及びプロピレンオキシドの含有量に基づいておよそ70%のエチレンオキシドを含有し、そして、42mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有する)と、徐々に混合した。その後混合物を60℃に加熱し、60℃で2時間撹拌し、次いで40℃未満に冷却した。冷却後、0.5gのジグリコールビス(クロロホルメート)及び0.5gの85%オルトリン酸もイソシアネートプレポリマーに加えた。
ガラス繊維織物Unifilo(登録商標)450の代わりに、炭素繊維織物及び天然繊維ジュート織物を使用し、その他の点では同一の条件下で、実験を繰り返した。この場合も、強化繊維層とハニカム板紙との間の非常に良好な結合を有するポリウレタンサンドイッチ成形物が得られ、ハニカム板紙の内部にはわずかな割合のポリウレタン接着剤しか浸透しなかった。11mm/2mmの境界領域における縁の形成、及び得られたポリウレタンサンドイッチ成形品の機械的特性も突出したものであった。
Claims (15)
- 少なくとも1つのコア層及び少なくとも2つの強化繊維層を含んだポリウレタンサンドイッチ成形品を製造する方法であって、
i. 少なくとも1つの強化繊維層がコア層上であって該コア層の両側にそれぞれ付与され、及び、強化繊維層に水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤が付与される工程、
ii. 工程iからの部品を型内に置いて型内でプレスし、前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤を硬化させる工程、及び
iii. 工程(ii)からの成形品を前記型から取り除き、任意にさらなる操作に供する工程、を含み、
前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤は、DIN53018に準拠して25℃で測定して、6000mPas~50000mPasの粘度を有し、
前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤は、少なくとも2個のイソシアネート反応性基を有するポリマー化合物、及び任意に1個のみのイソシアネート反応性基を有する化合物、及び任意に鎖延長剤及び/又は架橋剤と化学量論的過剰量の芳香族イソシアネートとを混合することによって得ることができるイソシアネート末端プレポリマーを、前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤の総質量に基づいて、少なくとも80質量%含み、そして
前記強化繊維層が前記少なくとも1つのコア層上に付与される前又は後に前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤が付与され、それを硬化させるために、前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤を水又は水を含む溶液と接触させる、方法。 - 前記コア層に使用される材料が、紙ハニカム、金属ハニカム、又はプラスチックハニカムである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記イソシアネート末端プレポリマーが、5質量%~20質量%のNCO含有量を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記芳香族イソシアネートが、2,4’-MDI、4,4’-MDI、MDIの高級多環式同族体、又はこれら成分のうちの2種以上の混合物からなる群から選択されるイソシアネートを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも2個のイソシアネート反応性基を有するポリマー化合物が、2~4の官能価を有する開始分子と平均含有量が20質量%~70質量%(アルキレンオキシドの総質量に基づく)であるエチレンオキシドとのアルコキシル化によって得ることができる少なくとも1種のポリエーテルオールを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリウレタン接着剤を、強化繊維層1m2あたり200~2000gの量で使用する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記強化繊維層が前記コア層上に付与される前に、前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤を前記強化繊維層の片側又は両側に付与する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤を、ロール付与によって前記強化繊維層に付与する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- ポリウレタン接着剤を含む前記強化繊維層を、前記ポリウレタン接着剤を付与した1時間~3ヶ月後に、前記コア層に付与する、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 前記水分硬化性ポリウレタン接着剤を、それを硬化させるために、アルカリ性のアルカリ金属水溶液と接触させる、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ性のアルカリ金属水溶液の濃度が、アルカリ金属に基づいて0.1~10mol/Lである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ性アルカリ金属水溶液のpHが、少なくとも10である、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ性のアルカリ金属水溶液を、10~150g/m2の量で前記ポリウレタン接着剤に付与する、請求項10から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)における前記型が装飾要素を含む、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記強化繊維層がガラス繊維層又は炭素繊維層である、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
