充填剤
上記のような積層接着剤組成物の主な特質がその透明性であることを考慮すると、積層接着剤組成物自体は、典型的には、無機充填剤又はその透明性に影響を及ぼす可能性がある他の添加剤をまったく含有しない。しかしながら、基材及び上層の両方が透明でない場合、本明細書に記載される組成物は、これらの材料を含むように製造されてもよい。あるいは、本明細書に記載される積層接着剤組成物は、いかなる種類の無機充填剤も含有しない。充填剤が存在する場合、その水分含量は、ISO 787-2:1981に記載の試験方法を利用して測定される。試験方法には、100mLの空のガラス容器を105℃のオーブン内に2時間にわたって置くことが含まれる。次いで、容器を、室温に達するまでデシケータに入れた。次いで、ガラス容器を正確に秤量し(W1)、その後、約1gの充填剤を容器に導入し、容器+充填剤の重量を正確に測定した(W2)。充填剤を有するガラス容器を105℃のオーブン内に更に2時間置いた。次いで、充填剤を含有するガラス容器を、室温に到達するまでデシケータに置き、正確に再秤量した(W3)。次いで、充填剤の水分含量を、次式を用いて計算した。

R2 3SiO1/2単位及びSiO4/2単位[式中、R2は、ケイ素原子に直接結合しているか又は酸素原子を介して結合している、ヒドロキシル基又は置換若しくは非置換の一価炭化水素基である]を含むシロキサン樹脂。一価炭化水素基は、典型的には、最大20個の炭素原子を含み、R2 3SiO1/2は典型的には1~10個の炭素原子を含む。R2に好適な炭化水素基の例としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ペンチル基、オクチル基、ウンデシル基及びオクタデシル基などのアルキル基;ビニル基、アリル基、及び5-ヘキセニル基などのアルケニル基;シクロヘキシル基及びシクロヘキセニルエチル基などの脂環式基、並びにフェニル基、トリル基、キシリル基などのアリール基、ベンジル基及び2-フェニルエチル基が挙げられる。典型的には、R2基の少なくとも1/3、あるいは少なくとも2/3は、メチル基である。R2 3SiO1/2単位の例としては、Me3SiO1/2、PhMe2SiO1/2及びMe2ViSiO1/2[式中、Me、Ph及びViは、それぞれメチル、フェニル及びビニルを表す]が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。シロキサン樹脂は、これらの基のうち2種以上を含んでもよい。シロキサン樹脂中のR2 3SiO1/2単位及びSiO4/2単位のモル比は、典型的に0.5:1~1.5:1である。これらの比は、Si29NMR分光法を用いて測定することができる。シロキサン樹脂は、代替的に、参照によって本明細書に組み込まれる国際公開第2014/124389号の成分Aとして定義されたタイプの反応性シロキサン樹脂であってもよい。
好適な接着促進剤は、式R14 qSi(OR15)(4-q)[式中、下付き文字qは1、2、又は3、あるいはqは3である]のアルコキシシランを含み得る。各R14は独立して一価の有機官能基である。R14は、グリシドキシプロピル基若しくは(エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチル基などのエポキシ官能基、アミノエチルアミノプロピル基若しくはアミノプロピル基などのアミノ官能基、メタクリルオキシプロピル基、メルカプトプロピル基などのメルカプト官能基、又は不飽和有機基であり得る。各R15は独立して、少なくとも1個の炭素原子を有する非置換飽和炭化水素基である。R15は、1~4個の炭素原子、あるいは1~2個の炭素原子を有してよい。R15の例としては、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、及びイソプロピルが挙げられる。

AFとは、接着破壊を意味し、すなわち、破壊が基材/エラストマーの境界面で起こる。
表2は、より流動性の高い配合物に関連する実施例を示す。
ガラス上の接着性が損なわれることが分かり得る。
Claims (21)
- チタネート又はジルコネート硬化触媒に基づく複数パート縮合硬化性ガラス又はディスプレイ積層接着剤組成物であって、
(i)1分子当たり少なくとも1個、典型的には少なくとも2個のケイ素結合ヒドロキシル官能基を有する、少なくとも1個の縮合硬化性シリル末端ポリマーと、
(ii)
1分子団当たり少なくとも2個の加水分解性基、あるいは少なくとも3個の加水分解性基を有するシラン、及び/又は
少なくとも2個のシリル基を有するシリル官能性分子であって、各シリル基が少なくとも1個の加水分解性基を含有するシリル官能性分子
の群から選択される架橋剤と、
(iii)チタネート、ジルコネートの群から選択される縮合触媒と、
の成分を含み、
ポリマー(i)は、架橋剤(ii)及び触媒(iii)と同じパートに貯蔵されず、

- 積層アセンブリに使用する積層アセンブリの製造における、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の複数パート縮合硬化性ガラス又はディスプレイ積層接着剤組成物の使用。
- 前記積層アセンブリを、窓及びドア内の視覚ガラス構成要素に、手すり、バルコニー若しくは屋根用途の1つ以上の構成要素に、ファサードのスパンドレル若しくはシャドーボックスの一部として、内部隔壁の構成要素として、電子表示用途の安全ガラス積層体として、耐火性窓若しくはドアユニット内の1つ以上の構成要素として、太陽制御構成要素として、又は防音バリア内に使用する、請求項20に記載の使用。
