Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係る灯具ユニットを用いた車両用前照灯10の概略水平断面図である。
上述のLEDアレイは、LEDの数や段数によって様々な組合せが考えられる。したがって、LEDアレイの構成に応じた搭載部や回路基板を設ける必要があり、汎用性が低くなるため、部品コストの低減に改善の余地がある。そこで、本実施の形態では、一または複数のLEDを搭載した標準パッケージを一種または複数種用いてLEDアレイを実現している。
次に、前述の標準パッケージを用いた発光モジュールについて説明する。図3は、本実施の形態に係る発光モジュールの正面図である。
次に、標準パッケージを組み合わせた発光素子アレイを備えた灯具の配光パターンについて説明する。図5(a)は、他の実施の形態に係る発光モジュールの一例を示す正面図、図5(b)は、図5(a)に示す発光モジュールを備えた灯具ユニットを側方から見た模式図、図5(c)は、図5(b)に示す灯具により形成される配光パターンを示す図である。なお、標準パッケージ34の細部については説明や図示を適宜省略している。
Claims (3)
- 灯具に用いられる発光モジュールであって、
複数の発光素子が複数段の発光素子アレイとして配置されている光源と、
前記光源を搭載する搭載部と、を備え、
前記搭載部は、互いに同一の構成を有する第1標準パッケージおよび第2標準パッケージが配置されており、
前記第1標準パッケージは、矩形の第1のサブマウントを有し、前記第1のサブマウントの一方の第1の長辺に沿って複数の第1の電極が配置されており、前記発光素子アレイのうち第1の列を構成する複数の前記発光素子を搭載しており、
前記第2標準パッケージは、矩形の第2のサブマウントを有し、前記第2のサブマウントの一方の第2の長辺に沿って複数の第2の電極が配置されており、前記発光素子アレイのうち前記第1の列と異なる第2の列を構成する複数の前記発光素子を搭載しており、
前記第1標準パッケージの数は、前記第2標準パッケージの数より多く、
前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極は、前記発光素子への給電に用いられ、
前記第1標準パッケージおよび前記第2標準パッケージは、前記第1の長辺と対向する前記第1のサブマウントの長辺と前記第2の長辺と対向する前記第2のサブマウントの長辺とが向かい合うように配置されている、
ことを特徴とする発光モジュール。 - 前記搭載部は、前記発光素子アレイの外縁部に前記電極が配置されるように、前記第1標準パッケージおよび前記第2標準パッケージが配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光モジュール。
- 車両の前照灯として用いられ、前記車両の右側または左側に搭載される灯具ユニットであって、
複数の発光素子が複数段の発光素子アレイとして配置されている光源と、
前記光源を搭載する搭載部と、
前記光源から出射された光を前方に配光パターンとして投影する光学部材と、を備え、
前記搭載部は、互いに同一の構成を有する第1標準パッケージおよび第2標準パッケージが配置されており、
前記第1標準パッケージは、下部発光部を構成し、前記発光素子アレイのうち第1の列を構成する、前記配光パターンの下部を照射する複数の前記発光素子を搭載しており、
前記第2標準パッケージは、上部発光部を構成し、前記発光素子アレイのうち前記第1の列と異なる第2の列を構成する、前記配光パターンの上部を照射する複数の前記発光素子を搭載しており、
前記第1標準パッケージの数は、前記第2標準パッケージの数より多く、
前記光学部材の光学的な中心を通る直線が前記搭載部と直交する位置を基準点とした場合、該基準点に対して前記上部発光部の中心が車幅方向にずれた第1のオフセット量は、該基準点に対して前記下部発光部の中心が車幅方向にずれた第2のオフセット量よりも大きく、
前記第1のオフセット量は、前記上部発光部の中心が前記基準点に対して前記灯具ユニットが搭載されている側にずれた量であり、
前記第2のオフセット量は、前記下部発光部の中心が前記基準点に対して前記灯具ユニットが搭載されている側にずれた量である、
ことを特徴とする灯具ユニット。
