Description
帯状体16は、数多くの方法で固定してケージ10を構成することができる。ワイヤから帯状体を形成する場合に対して、当該帯状体は、押出し加工によって形成することもできるし、平坦な材料体あるいは管から形成することもできる。例えば、図2及び図4A-図5Bに関連して説明した実施形態を変更して個々の帯状体を提供し、これらを結合してケージを形成することもできる。
Claims (11)
- 内腔を有し、長軸を画定する細条の部材と、
前記細条の部材と結合された膨張可能なバルーンと、
複数の帯状体と、
を備え、
前記複数の帯状体の各々は、前記バルーンの外表面に沿って延在するとともに、各々の前記帯状体に沿って離隔して設けられた複数の楔形切開器具を有し、
前記複数の楔形切開器具は、
基面であって、当該基面から前記楔形切開器具が外方に突出しており、前記複数の楔形切開器具の間における上向きの面と連続する基面と、
半径方向外向きの切面であって、当該半径方向外向きの切面の第1端部と第2端部との間に所定の長さを有する半径方向外向きの切面と、
前記基面と前記半径方向外向きの切面の前記第1端部との間において上方に延在した第1側面と、
前記基面と前記半径方向外向きの切面の前記第2端部との間において上方に延在した第2側面と、
をそれぞれ有し、
前記半径方向外向きの切面は、前記第1側面と前記第2側面との間に延在しており、
前記半径方向外向きの切面は、
前記第1端部において第1幅を有し、
前記第1端部と前記第2端部との間において、前記第1幅よりも小さい幅の第2幅を有し、
前記第2端部において、前記第2幅よりも大きな幅の第3幅を有することを特徴とする、医療用バルーンカテーテル。 - 前記複数の帯状体の各々が前記バルーンの前記外表面に接合されている場合、当該各々の帯状体の長さは、前記バルーンの前記外表面の長さよりも短いことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- 前記楔形切開器具の、前記半径方向外向きの切面の全体の長さは、前記楔側切開器具の前記基面の全体の長さよりも短いことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- 前記複数の帯状体は、繊維状の表面をそれぞれ有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- 前記バルーン、前記帯状体及び前記楔形切開器具の前記外表面に、親水性の滑層を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- 前記バルーン、前記帯状体及び前記楔形切開器具の前記外表面に、少なくとも1つの高分子保持層を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- 前記バルーンは、当該バルーンの長手方向端部において円錐体を含み、当該円錐体の最大外径は、前記バルーンの最大外径の5%よりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- さらに、前記各帯状体の長手方向端部を覆う材料からなる傾斜部を備え、前記材料は、前記各帯状体の材料よりも柔軟性を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- 前記傾斜部は、前記バルーンの前記外表面から前記各帯状体の前記長手方向端部に向けて傾斜していることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
- さらに、前記膨張可能なバルーンの前記外表面におけるベース層と、
前記ベース層の上面で、かつ前記複数の帯状体のそれぞれの下側に設けられた結合層と、
前記膨張可能なバルーンの前記外表面及び前記複数の楔形切開器具を覆う第1保持結合層と、
前記第1保持結合層及び第2保持結合層に亘る滑層と、
を備え
前記第2保持結合層は前記第1保持結合層の上面に設けられ、
前記第1保持結合層及び前記第2保持結合層は、同一の物質を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。 - 前記膨張可能なバルーンは、前記外表面から延在し、かつ前記複数の帯状体から離間して設けられた複数のひだを備え、
前記膨張可能なバルーンは、第1縮小構成及び第2拡張構成を備え、
前記第1縮小構成では、前記複数の帯状体の各帯状体の各楔形切開器具は、2つの隣接するひだの間に配置され、前記膨張可能なバルーンの前記外表面に対して垂直でなく接線方向に横たわった状態となり、
前記第2拡張構成では、前記各帯状体の前記各楔形切開器具は、前記膨張可能なバルーンの前記外表面に対して垂直方向に立ち上がった状態となることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の医療用バルーンカテーテル。
