Description
前記電荷発生層が、樹脂バインダとしてのポリビニルブチラール樹脂を含有するとともに、前記電荷輸送層が、電荷輸送材料としての下記式(1)および(2)、
で表されるスチルベン化合物のうちのいずれか一方または双方と、酸化防止剤としてのトリベンジルアミンとを含有し、
前記電荷輸送層における前記トリベンジルアミンの配合量が、前記電荷輸送材料の配合量の0.7質量%以上4質量%以下であるものである。
で表されるスチルベン化合物のうちのいずれか一方または双方と、酸化防止剤としてのトリベンジルアミン(TBA)とを含有する。TBAの構造式を、下記式(3)に示す。
本発明の実施形態の電子写真装置は、上記電子写真用感光体を搭載してなり、スコロトロン帯電器を備える。図2に、本発明の電子写真装置の一構成例の概略構成図を示す。図示する本発明の電子写真装置60は、導電性基体1と、その外周面上に被覆された下引き層2および感光層300とを含む、本発明の感光体7を搭載する。この電子写真装置60は、感光体7の外周縁部に配置された、スコロトロン帯電器21と、このスコロトロン帯電器21に印加電圧を供給する高圧電源22と、像露光部材23と、現像ローラ241を備えた現像器24と、給紙ローラ251および給紙ガイド252を備えた給紙部材25と、転写帯電器(直接帯電型)26と、から構成される。電子写真装置60は、さらに、クリーニングブレード271を備えたクリーニング装置27と、除電部材28とを含んでもよい。また、本発明の電子写真装置60は、プリンタ、複写機等のいずれであってもよく、図示するモノクロ機の他、カラー機とすることもでき、好適にはカラー複写機とすることができる。
アルコール可溶性ナイロン(東レ(株)製、商品名「CM8000」)5質量部と、アミノシラン処理された酸化チタン微粒子5質量部とを、メタノール90質量部に溶解、分散させて、下引き層形成用塗布液を調製した。導電性基体1としての外径30mmのアルミニウム製円筒の外周に、この下引き層形成用塗布液を浸漬塗工し、温度100℃で30分間乾燥して、膜厚3μmの下引き層2を形成した。
で示される繰り返し単位を有する樹脂12質量部と、下記の表1中に示す添加剤とを、テトラヒドロフラン80質量部に溶解して、電荷輸送層形成用塗布液を作製した。上記電荷発生層3上に、この電荷輸送層形成用塗布液を浸漬塗工し、温度120℃で60分間乾燥して、膜厚20μmの電荷輸送層4を形成し、負帯電積層型感光体を作製した。

各実施例、参考例および比較例にて得られた感光体の表面電位を、ジェンテック社製のCynthiaを使用して、以下の方法で評価した。各実施例、参考例および比較例の感光体について、温度23℃、湿度50%の環境下で、感光体の表面を暗所にてコロナ放電により-600Vに帯電せしめた後、フィルターを用いて780nmに分光した露光光を光量0.45μJ/cm2にて感光体に照射することにより露光を行い、その後の感光体の表面電位を測定した。露光-プローブ時間は110msecとした。表面電位が90(-V)以下であると良好である。
各実施例、参考例および比較例にて得られた感光体を、下記の表2中に示す条件にてオゾンに暴露させ、その後の表面電位の周方向における最大値と最小値との差を求めた。表面電位の測定は、各実施例、参考例および比較例の感光体について、温度23℃、湿度50%の環境下で、感光体の表面を暗所にてコロナ放電により-600Vに帯電せしめた後、フィルターを用いて780nmに分光した露光光を、表面が-200Vになるまで感光体に照射することにより露光を行い、その後の感光体の周方向における最大値と最小値との差を、電位偏差として求めた。露光-プローブ時間は110msecとした。曝露量100ppm・h以上の条件下で、電位偏差が12V以下であれば耐オゾン性に優れ、良好である。
電位偏差が12Vを超える場合は、十分な耐オゾン性を有しないため×とした。また、電位偏差が12V以下であって十分な耐オゾン性を有する場合については、表面電位が90(-V)以下である場合を○、表面電位が90(-V)を超える場合を△とした。

Claims (4)
- 前記電荷輸送層に含まれる酸化防止剤の総量のうち、前記トリベンジルアミンの含有量が60質量%以上である請求項1記載の電子写真用感光体。
- 前記導電性基体が円筒状であり、曝露量100ppm・hにてオゾンに曝露した後の表面電位の周方向における最大値と最小値との差が12V以下である請求項1または2記載の電子写真用感光体。
- 請求項1~3のうちいずれか一項記載の電子写真用感光体を搭載してなり、スコロトロン帯電器を備える電子写真装置。
