Claims (5)
- 駆動力を発生させる電動モータ部と、車輪を回転自在に支持する車輪用軸受部と、互いに平行に配置された入力歯車軸、中間歯車軸および出力歯車軸を有し、前記入力歯車軸に入力された前記電動モータ部の回転を二段以上で減速して前記車輪用軸受部に出力する減速機部と、を備え、
各歯車軸に設けられた歯車がはすば歯車で構成され、
前記歯車同士の噛合い部を形成する二つの歯車軸の回転中心を結ぶ直線で形成される挟角が60°~110°となるように各歯車軸が配置されたインホイールモータ駆動装置において、
前記減速機部内で互いに噛合う二つの歯車の何れか一方又は双方は、歯面修整が施されることによって歯すじ方向の一端部および他端部で歯厚が相互に異なっており、
前記一端部および前記他端部のうち前記歯厚が相対的に小さい方が、前記電動モータ部の駆動時に歯車同士の噛合い部に生じるアキシャル荷重のモーメントにより前記中間歯車軸に傾きが生じるのに伴って前記二つの歯車の噛合う歯面同士の距離が縮まる側に配置されていることを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記二つの歯車のうち歯数が少ない方の歯車のみが、前記一端部および前記他端部で歯厚が相互に異なっている請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記歯面修整が、歯すじ方向に沿って設けられたテーパ状の肉取りである請求項1又は2に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記二つの歯車の何れか一方又は双方は、前記歯面修整として歯すじ方向のクラウニングがさらに施されている請求項3に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記二つの歯車の何れか一方又は双方は、前記歯面修整として歯形方向のクラウニングがさらに施されている請求項3又は4に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
