Description
電動モータが占有していない空間に懸架機構との接続点やブレーキキャリパ取付部等を設けることができる。また、インホイールモータ駆動装置全体を小さくすることができるので、転舵機構による旋回運動や懸架機構による上下運動に伴う車体や懸架部品との干渉を回避しやすくしている。

Claims (6)
- 電動モータ部と、減速機部と、車輪用軸受部とから構成され、ケーシングを備えており、前記減速機部が平行軸歯車による減速構造を有するインホイールモータ駆動装置において、
前記平行軸歯車は、前記電動モータ部に連結され入力歯車を備えた入力軸、入力側中間歯車と出力側中間歯車を備えた1つ又は複数の中間軸および前記車輪軸受部に連結され最終出力歯車を備えた出力軸とから構成され、前記入力軸、前記中間軸および前記出力軸のそれぞれの両端部が転がり軸受によって回転自在に支持され、
前記中間軸と前記出力軸のアウトボード側を支持する2つの転がり軸受と、前記中間軸と前記出力軸のインボード側を支持する2つの転がり軸受の少なくとも片側の2つの転がり軸受は、その軸受幅が軸方向に重ならない位置に配置され、
前記出力軸を支持する転がり軸受とは別に独立して前記車輪用軸受部が設けられており、前記出力軸が前記車輪用軸受部にトルク伝達可能に連結されていることを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記軸受幅が軸方向に重ならない位置に配置されている2つの転がり軸受が、前記中間軸と前記出力軸のアウトボード側を支持する転がり軸受であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記中間軸を支持する転がり軸受に対して前記出力軸を支持する転がり軸受をインボード側にずらせたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記減速構造が2段の平行軸歯車で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記車輪用軸受部が前記出力軸を支持する転がり軸受よりアウトボード側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記車輪用軸受部が前記ケーシングの外側に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
