Claims (20)
- コントローラを有する電力供給装置であって、前記電力供給装置は電流波形を出力する、電力供給装置と、
第1および第2の出口オリフィスを有するコンタクト・チップ・アセンブリであって、前記コンタクト・チップ・アセンブリは、第1の消耗材料を前記第1の出口オリフィスを通して溶着動作に向け、第2の消耗材料を前記第2の出口オリフィスを通して前記溶着動作に向けるように構成され、前記コンタクト・チップ・アセンブリは、前記第1および第2の出口オリフィスのぞれぞれで測定して前記第1の消耗材料と前記第2の消耗材料との間に距離Sが存在するように構成される、コンタクト・チップ・アセンブリと、
を備える溶接または付加製造システムであって、
前記電流波形は、ピーク電流レベル、バックグラウンド電流レベルおよびブリッジング電流レベルを有し、
前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、ブリッジ溶滴を形成するように構成され、前記ブリッジ溶滴は、前記溶着動作中に前記ブリッジ溶滴がパドルに移行する前に前記第1の消耗材料とおよび前記第2の消耗材料を結合する、
溶接または付加製造システム。 - 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、前記ピーク電流レベルと前記バックグラウンド電流レベルとの差の30~70%の範囲内である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、前記ピーク電流レベルと前記バックグラウンド電流レベルとの差の40~60%の範囲内である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ピーク電流レベルは、少なくとも4msの間維持される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ピーク電流レベルは、4~7msの範囲内の持続時間の間維持される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ピーク電流は、550~700アンペアの範囲内である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、所定のブリッジング電流持続時間の間維持される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、1.5~8msの範囲内のブリッジング電流持続時間の間維持される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、2~6msの範囲内のブリッジング電流持続時間の間維持される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記溶着動作中にブリッジ溶滴閾値レベルが到達された後に前記ブリッジ溶滴の移行を開始する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 溶接または付加製造の方法であって、
第1の出口オリフィスおよび第2の出口オリフィスを有するコンタクト・チップ・アセンブリに電流波形を提供するステップであって、前記電流波形は、ピーク電流レベル、バックグラウンド電流レベルおよびブリッジング電流レベルを有する、ステップと、
第1の消耗材料を前記コンタクト・チップ・アセンブリに、前記第1の消耗材料が前記第1の出口オリフィスを出て行くように提供するステップと、
第2の消耗材料を前記コンタクト・チップ・アセンブリに、前記第2の消耗材料が前記第2の出口オリフィスを出て行くように提供するステップであって、前記第1および第2の出口オリフィスは、前記第1の消耗材料と前記第2の消耗材料との間に距離Sが存在するように互いに位置している、ステップと、
前記ブリッジング電流レベルの間に前記第1の消耗材料と前記第2の消耗材料との間にブリッジ溶滴を形成するステップであって、前記ブリッジ溶滴は、溶着動作中に前記ブリッジ溶滴がパドルに移行する前に前記第1および第2の消耗材料を結合する、ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、前記ピーク電流レベルと前記バックグラウンド電流レベルとの差の30~70%の範囲内である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ブリッジング電流レベルは、前記ピーク電流レベルと前記バックグラウンド電流レベルとの差の40~60%の範囲内である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ピーク電流レベルは、少なくとも4msの間維持される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ピーク電流レベルは、4~7msの範囲内の持続時間の間維持される、請求項11に記載の方法。
