Claims (13)
- 被験者の体内に粉末薬剤を送達するための装置であって、
前記粉末薬剤を収容するための粉末チャンバと、
前記粉末チャンバと流体接続されるシャーシであって、該シャーシは、
加圧ガスを受けるための第1の通路、
テーパ無し領域およびテーパ付き領域を含む第2の通路であって、前記テーパ無し領域は前記粉末薬剤を前記粉末チャンバから受けるように構成されており、前記テーパ付き領域は前記テーパ無し領域の下流に位置しており、前記粉末チャンバから前記第2の通路のテーパ無し領域において受けた前記粉末薬剤の少なくとも一部分は前記テーパ付き領域に沿って位置している、前記第2の通路、
前記第1の通路および前記第2の通路と流体連通する接合部であって、前記加圧ガスの少なくとも第1の部分が、前記接合部にて前記粉末薬剤の中に導かれて、前記粉末薬剤と混合される、前記接合部、
前記接合部と流体連通する第3の通路であって、前記シャーシからの導出のために前記流動化された粉末薬剤を前記接合部から受ける、前記第3の通路、および
第4の通路であって、該第4の通路は前記第1の通路と前記第4の通路の第1端で流体連通するとともに前記第4の通路の第2端で前記テーパ付き領域と流体連通し、前記第4の通路は前記加圧ガスの第2の部分を前記第1の通路から前記テーパ付き領域へ送るように構成されており、前記テーパ付き領域に対する前記第4の通路の角度は、前記加圧ガスの第2の部分を前記テーパ付き領域の壁に対して接線方向に放出させて、前記テーパ無し領域内で前記加圧ガスの第2の部分および前記粉末薬剤の渦を生成させる、前記第4の通路、を備えており、
前記シャーシは、
(i)前記加圧ガスの第2の部分を受けたことに応じて前記テーパ付き領域に沿って位置している前記粉末薬剤の少なくとも一部分を前記第2の通路のテーパ無し領域へと送るように構成されており、(ii)前記第2の通路のテーパ無し領域内の前記粉末薬剤を撹拌させるように構成されており、(iii)前記撹拌された粉末薬剤を前記テーパ無し領域から下流に向けて前記テーパ付き領域を通って前記接合部に送るように構成されている、装置。 - 前記粉末チャンバを出て前記第2の通路のテーパ無し領域の中に入る前記粉末薬剤の動きを重力が支援するように、前記粉末チャンバは前記シャーシの上に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の通路、前記接合部、および前記第3の通路は、実質的に位置合わせされる、請求項1および2のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の通路の中心長手方向軸は、前記第1の通路および前記第3の通路の少なくとも一方の中心長手方向軸に対して実質的に直交する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記テーパ付き領域と前記第4の通路が交わる前記テーパ付き領域の壁に開口部が形成される、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記テーパ付き領域は、前記第2の通路のテーパ無し領域から前記接合部へと前記粉末薬剤が流出するのを容易にするように構成されている漏斗を規定する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記シャーシを出る前記流動化された粉末薬剤を受けるために前記第3の通路と流体連通するカテーテルをさらに含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の通路および前記接合部の少なくとも一方の中へと延びる螺旋状部をさらに含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記粉末薬剤の送達のために、前記カテーテルの第1端は前記シャーシに結合されているとともに前記カテーテルの第2端は患者の目標治療部位に位置している、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の通路、前記接合部、および前記第3の通路のうちの少なくとも1つの内部で延びる振動ワイヤをさらに含む、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記粉末チャンバに取り付けられた振動リングをさらに含む、請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記テーパ付き領域は、前記第2の通路のテーパ無し領域において前記粉末薬剤が塞がる、または詰まるのを避けるように構成されている漏斗を規定する、請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の通路の中心長手方向軸は、前記第1の通路および前記第3の通路の少なくとも一方の中心長手方向軸に対して角度が付けられている、請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
