Description
Oidium Kalanchoeaeウドンコ病耐性Calanchoe blossfeldiana親植物(代表的な種子を、2015年3月2日に英国Aberdeen AB21 9YA Bucksburn、Craibstone EstateのNCIMB Ferguson Buildingに寄託番号NCIMB 42379で寄託した)を、ウドンコ病感受性Kalanchoe blossfeldiana植物と交配させ、分離子孫を得た。子孫について、約4週齢の植物にOidium Kalanchoeaeを感染させることによりOidium Kalanchoeae耐性をアッセイした。その後、感染後の植物を以下の条件下で約4週間にわたって成長させた:
温度:日中20℃/夜間18℃;
相対湿度:日中60%/夜間80%;
1日の長さ:20時間(1000~2000ルクスの間の強さを有する人工光)。

Claims (6)
- 配列番号1のタンパク質と比較して、カランコエ植物のチオエステラーゼ又はチオエステラーゼ様タンパク質にアミノ酸の置換を含むタンパク質を含むカランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分であって、該アミノ酸の置換が配列番号1の22位及び23位でのアミノ酸トレオニンのアラニンへのアミノ酸置換であり、該カランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分がウドンコ病に対して耐性である、カランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分。
- 前記タンパク質が配列番号2のタンパク質である、請求項1に記載のカランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分。
- 前記タンパク質がアミノ酸配列モチーフ「PATAAEST」を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のカランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分。
- 配列番号3の64位のAからGの核酸置換及び67位のAからGの核酸置換を有する核酸を含むカランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分であって、該カランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分がウドンコ病に対して耐性である、カランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分。
- 前記カランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分がウドンコ病原菌Oidium kalanchoeaeに対して耐性である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のカランコエ植物、そのプロトプラスト又は植物部分。
