Abstract
Description
Oidium Kalanchoeaeウドンコ病耐性Calanchoe blossfeldiana親植物(代表的な種子を、2015年3月2日に英国Aberdeen AB21 9YA Bucksburn、Craibstone EstateのNCIMB Ferguson Buildingに寄託番号NCIMB 42379で寄託した)を、ウドンコ病感受性Kalanchoe blossfeldiana植物と交配させ、分離子孫を得た。子孫について、約4週齢の植物にOidium Kalanchoeaeを感染させることによりOidium Kalanchoeae耐性をアッセイした。その後、感染後の植物を以下の条件下で約4週間にわたって成長させた:
温度:日中20℃/夜間18℃;
相対湿度:日中60%/夜間80%;
1日の長さ:20時間(1000〜2000ルクスの間の強さを有する人工光)。

Claims (18)
- 配列番号1のタンパク質又はそれと80%の配列同一性を有するタンパク質と比較して、カランコエ植物のチオエステラーゼ又はチオエステラーゼ様タンパク質に1以上のアミノ酸の置換、欠失又は挿入を含むタンパク質であって、該1以上のアミノ酸の置換、欠失又は挿入によって、配列番号1又はそれと80%の配列同一性を有するタンパク質を含むカランコエ植物と比較して、カランコエ植物におけるウドンコ病耐性が増大したタンパク質。
- 前記1以上のアミノ酸の置換、欠失又は挿入が配列番号1のアミノ酸1〜50に含まれる、請求項1に記載のタンパク質。
- 前記1以上のアミノ酸の置換が配列番号1の22位及び/又は23位での置換である、請求項1又は2に記載のタンパク質。
- 前記1以上のアミノ酸の置換が配列番号1の22位及び/又は23位でのアミノ酸トレオニンのアミノ酸置換である、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のタンパク質。
- 前記1以上のアミノ酸の置換が配列番号1の22位及び/又は23位でのアミノ酸トレオニンのアラニンへのアミノ酸置換である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のタンパク質。
- 前記タンパク質が配列番号2のタンパク質である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のタンパク質。
- アミノ酸配列モチーフ「PATAAEST」を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のタンパク質。

- 配列番号3の64位及び/又は67位に核酸置換を有する、請求項10に記載の核酸。
- 前記核酸が配列番号4又は配列番号5又は配列番号6の核酸配列である、請求項10又は請求項11に記載の核酸。
- 請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の核酸配列に転写される又は請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のタンパク質をコードすることのできる遺伝子。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のタンパク質又は請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の核酸配列又は請求項13に記載の遺伝子の、ウドンコ病耐性カランコエ植物、好ましくはOidium Kalanchoeae耐性カランコエ植物を選択するための使用。
