Description
図1はワークを示す平面図であり、図2は図1のX-X線に沿う断面図である。図1及び図2に示すように、本実施形態に係るワーク10は、例えば燃料電池セルに用いられるセパレータ11を2枚重ね合わせたものである。セパレータ11は、ステンレス鋼やチタン鋼などの金属板材を凸部11aと凹部11bとが交互に繰り返されるようにプレス成形することで形成されている。2枚のセパレータ11は、一方のセパレータ11の凹部11bが他方のセパレータ11の凹部11bと接触するように、重ね合わせられている。これによって、一方のセパレータ11の凸部11aと他方のセパレータ11の凸部11aとの間には、空間Sが形成されている。この空間Sは、燃料電池セルを冷却する冷媒を流通させるための冷媒流路になる。
以下、図3~図6を参照して本実施形態の溶接装置を説明する。図3は実施形態に係る溶接装置を示す模式図である。本実施形態の溶接装置1は、ワーク10にレーザ光を照射して該ワーク10を溶接するレーザ照射部2と、ワーク10を上下両側から挟持して固定する上治具(第1治具)3及び下治具(第2治具)4と、上治具3の上側に配置されるチャンバ5とを備えている。
以下、図7及び図8を参照して本実施形態に係る溶接方法を説明する。図7及び図8においては、レーザ照射部2が省略される。本実施形態の溶接方法は、準備工程と溶接工程とを少なくとも含む。

Claims (3)
- ワークの溶接予定ラインに沿ってレーザ光を走査しながら照射するレーザ照射部と、
前記ワークに対して前記レーザ照射部側に配置される第1治具と、
前記ワークに対して前記レーザ照射部側とは反対側に配置され、前記第1治具と共に前記ワークを挟持可能な第2治具と、
を備える溶接装置であって、
前記第1治具は、
前記ワークの溶接予定ラインを前記レーザ照射部側に露出させる露出部と、
レーザ光の走査方向の下流側に設けられ、前記露出部に不活性ガスを導入する導入路と、
レーザ光の走査方向の上流側に設けられ、前記露出部に導入される不活性ガスを吸引して外部に排出する排出路と、
を有し、
前記溶接装置は、前記露出部を覆うように前記第1治具に取り付けられるとともに、前記露出部と連通するチャンバを更に備え、
前記チャンバは、レーザ光を透過する蓋体と、側壁に形成されて前記チャンバの内部に不活性ガスを導入する導入孔と、を有することを特徴とする溶接装置。 - 前記導入路は、レーザ光の走査方向の下流側から上流側に向かって、水平方向に対して角度θで斜め下方に傾斜し、
前記排出路は、レーザ光の走査方向の下流側から上流側に向かって、水平方向に対して角度θで斜め上方に傾斜し、
前記角度θは、0°<θ≦15°であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶接装置。 - 前記導入路と前記排出路とは、対向して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の溶接装置。
