Description

Claims (20)
- ユーザの指に装着されるように構成され、前記指は、一面に指の爪を、反対の面に指の腹を有する指先を有する指装着デバイスであって、
前記指先に結合するように構成される本体であって、前記本体は、前記指先の前記指の爪を覆う第1の部分と、前記指先の第1の側部を下に伸びる第2の部分と、前記指先の第2の側部を下に伸びる第3の部分とを有し、前記本体は、前記指先の前記指の腹を露出されたままにし、前記第2の部分と前記第3の部分は前記指先に取り付けるために互いに対して移動するように構成される、本体と、
前記本体の前記第2の部分におけるセンサであって、前記センサは、前記指先の前記第1の側部に沿う異なる大きさの圧縮に基づいて各々が別個のそれぞれの力センサ測定値を生成する複数の構成要素を含む力センサを含む、センサと、
前記本体と結合された触覚出力デバイスと、
制御回路であって、
前記複数の構成要素を含む前記力センサを用いて指入力を収集し、
触覚出力を前記ユーザの指に、前記触覚出力デバイスを用いて提供し、
前記指入力に基づいて制御信号を外部電子デバイスに送信する、ように構成された制御回路とを、備える、指装着デバイス。 - 前記本体に結合された加速度計であって、前記制御回路が、前記加速度計を用いて指タップ入力を収集するように構成された、加速度計を更に備え、前記制御回路は、前記指で表面に印加された指圧に関連付けられた、前記指タップの情報及び前記力センサからの力情報を無線送信するように構成された無線通信回路を含む、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記本体と結合された光学センサと、
前記本体に結合された発光ダイオードとを更に備える、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。 - 前記指装着デバイスは、前記第2の部分と前記第3の部分とを引き寄せるように構成された、前記第2の部分と前記第3の部分間を連結する、偏倚構造体を更に備える、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記本体は、ポリマーで被覆された変形可能な金属層を備える、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記本体は、前記第2の部分と前記第3の部分を互いに結合する磁石部分を備える、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記本体の内側面に圧縮性層を更に備える、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記制御回路は、前記指によって印加された圧力に関連付けられた力測定値を、前記力センサを用いて収集するように構成されると共に、前記制御回路は、前記力測定値に基づいて前記触覚出力を提供するように構成される、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記本体の前記第2の部分と前記第3の部分は、それぞれ第1の側壁部と第2の側壁部を形成し、前記第1の部分は、前記第1の側壁部と前記第2の側壁部と互いに結合し、前記触覚出力デバイスは、前記第1の側壁部と前記第2の側壁部のうちの1つに搭載される、請求項8に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記力センサは、圧電力センサ及び容量性力センサから成る群から選択される、請求項8に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記触覚出力デバイスは、圧電触覚出力デバイスを含む、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記指装着デバイスは、加速度計を更に備え、前記制御回路は、前記力センサ及び前記加速度計のうちの選択された1つからの出力の検出に応答して、1~300Hzの周波数のパルスで前記触覚出力デバイスを駆動するように構成される、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- 前記触覚出力デバイスは、力センサ測定値を前記制御回路に供給するように構成され、前記触覚出力は、仮想現実触覚出力及び拡張現実触覚出力から成る群から選択される触覚出力を含む、請求項1に記載の指装着デバイス。
- ユーザの指先に着用されるように構成される指装着デバイスであって、前記指装着デバイスは、
力センサと、
触覚出力デバイスと、
加速度計と、
前記指先の指の爪に重なる上部分と、前記指先の指の腹を露出されたままにして前記指先の互いに反対側にある第1の側と第2の側を下に伸びる2つの側部と、を有する支持構造体を有する指先ユニットであって、前記2つの側部が、前記指先に取り付けるために互いに対して移動するように構成され、前記支持構造体の前記2つの側部のうちの1つが、前記力センサであって、前記指先の前記第1の側又は前記第2の側に沿う異なる大きさの圧縮に基づいて各々が別個のそれぞれの力センサ測定値を生成する複数の構成要素を含む前記力センサと結合され、前記支持構造体が、前記触覚出力デバイスと、前記加速度計とに結合される、指先ユニットと、
前記複数の構成要素を含む前記力センサ及び前記加速度計から指入力を収集するように構成されると共に、駆動信号を前記触覚出力デバイスへ供給するように構成された制御回路とを備え、前記制御回路は、無線回路を備え、前記無線回路を用いて前記制御回路が、前記指入力に基づいて制御信号を外部電子デバイスに無線送信する、指装着デバイス。 - 第1の部分及び第2の部分を伴うU字型断面外形を有し、前記第1の部分及び第2の部分は、ユーザの指先の指の腹を露出されたままにして前記指先の側部を下に伸びる側壁を形成し、前記側壁は第3の部分によって結合され、前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分は前記指先に取り付けるために互いに対して移動するように構成される、指装着支持構造体と、
前記第1の部分上に配置された力センサであって、前記指先の側部に沿う異なる大きさの圧縮に基づいて各々が別個のそれぞれの力センサ測定値を生成する複数の構成要素を含む力センサと、
前記第3の部分上に配置された加速度計と、
前記指装着支持構造体に結合された触覚出力デバイスと、
前記複数の構成要素を含む前記力センサ及び前記加速度計から指入力を収集し、前記指入力に基づいて制御信号を外部電子デバイスに送信する制御回路とを備える、装置。 - 前記指装着支持構造体は、前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分間の分離距離を調節するために変形するように構成された、変形可能な金属層を有する、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記第3の部分は、前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分間の分離距離を調整するために、互いに対して摺動する部分を有する、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記第3の部分は、電気的に調節可能な可撓性を有する構成要素を含む、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記指装着支持構造体の動作を追跡するカメラを有し、ビジュアル要素を表示するように構成された、電子デバイスを更に備え、前記電子デバイスは、前記ビジュアル要素を表示するディスプレイを有するヘッドマウントデバイスを含み、前記ヘッドマウントデバイスは、前記加速度計からの情報に基づいて、表示された前記ビジュアル要素を前記ディスプレイ上で移動させるように構成される、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記外部電子デバイスは、前記指装着支持構造体の動作を追跡するカメラを有し、且つビジュアル要素を表示するように構成され、前記外部電子デバイスは、前記ビジュアル要素を表示するディスプレイを有するヘッドマウントデバイスを含み、前記ヘッドマウントデバイスは、前記指入力に基づいて、表示された前記ビジュアル要素を前記ディスプレイ上で移動させつつ、フィードバックとして前記触覚出力デバイスを用いて触覚出力を供給するように構成され、
ビジュアルマーカが前記カメラを用いて追跡され、前記ビジュアルマーカは、前記指装着支持構造体上の赤外発光ダイオードを含む、請求項15に記載の装置。
