Description
<車両用自動変速機の基本構成>
まず、本発明に係る制御装置を備える車両用自動変速機(以下、単に「自動変速機」と称する)1の基本構成を図1に基づいて以下に説明する。
ここで、自動変速機1における各構成要素間の連結関係を図1に基づいて説明する。
ここで、本実施の形態に係る自動変速機1の作動を図2~図4に基づいて以下に説明する。
次に、本発明に係る自動変速機1の制御装置について説明する。
図5は自動変速機1の制御装置100の基本構成を示すブロック図であり、図示の制御装置100は、自動変速機1のみならず、エンジンEGやトルクコンバータTC(図1参照)の各制御も行うことが可能である。本実施の形態においては、エンジンEGは、制御装置100とは別に設けられたエンジンECU200によって制御される構成が採用されている。この場合、制御装置100は、エンジンECU200からエンジンEGや車両の各種情報を受信することができるとともに、自動変速機1の情報をエンジンECU200に送信することができる。
本実施の形態に係る自動変速機1においては、後進段(RVS)が選択された場合にはブレーキF1は、回転阻止状態にある。前進段(Dレンジ)や非走行レンジ(P/Nレンジ)から後進段(RVS)に切り替える際には、ブレーキF1を一方向回転許容状態(OWC)から双方向回転阻止状態(TWC)に切り替える場合がある。このとき、異音や振動の発生を抑えるためには、ブレーキF1のケーシング12側とキャリアCr2側との差回転が0であることが望ましい。すなわち、キャリアCr2の回転数が0であることが望ましい。
次に、本発明に係る制御装置100による後進段(RVS)への切替制御について説明する。
以上のように、本実施の形態では、車両が高速で走行している場合であっても、運転者によって後進段(RVS)が選択されると、直ちに所定の係合機構であるクラッチC1,C3とブレーキB3の係合を開始して入力軸10の回転を停止させるRVS準備処理を実行するようにしたため、従来のように車速が規定値(例えば、6km/h)に低下するまでRVS準備処理を実行しないで待機する必要がなく、自動変速機1の後進段(RVS)への切り替えに対する応答性を高めることができる。

Claims (3)
- 駆動力が入力される入力軸と、
駆動力を出力する出力部材と、
前記入力軸に入力された駆動力を前記出力部材に伝達する複数の遊星ギヤ機構と、
前記複数の遊星ギヤ機構における駆動力の伝達経路を切り替えて複数の変速段を確立可能な複数の係合機構と、を備え、
前記複数の係合機構のうちの1つは、前記複数の遊星ギヤ機構が備える複数の回転要素のうちの所定の回転要素の第1の方向の回転のみを規制する第1の状態と、前記回転要素の前記第1の方向と該第1の回転方向とは逆の第2の回転方向との双方向の回転を規制する第2の状態とに切替可能な機械式係合機構であり、
前記複数の変速段は、
前記機械式係合機構が前記第1の状態と前記第2の状態の何れにおいても確立可能な前進最低速段と、
前記前進最低速段よりも変速比が高くて前記機械式係合機構が前記第2の状態にあるときには確立不能な前進段と、
前記機械式係合機構が前記第2の状態にあるときに確立可能な後進段と、を含み、
前記複数の係合機構のうちの所定の係合機構は、変速段が前記前進最低速段であって、かつ、前記機械式係合機構が前記第1の状態にある場合に、係合によって前記所定の回転要素の前記第2の方向の回転を規制する係合機構である車両用自動変速機の制御装置であって、
車速を検出する車速センサと、
前記入力軸の回転数を検出する回転数検出手段と、
前記複数の係合機構を制御する制御手段と、を備え、
前記制御手段は、
変速段が前記前進最低変速段であって、かつ、前記機械式係合機構が前記第1の状態にある場合に、前記所定の係合機構を係合させることができる機能を備え、
前記機械式係合機構が前記第1の状態にあって、車両が前記後進段が確立可能な最も高い車速以上の車速で走行しているときに前記後進段が選択されると、前記所定の係合機構の係合を開始して前記入力軸の回転を停止させるリバース準備処理を実行し、
変速段として前記後進段が選択された場合には、前記リバース準備処理を実行した後に前記回転数検出手段によって検出される前記入力軸の回転数が規定値未満であって、かつ、前記車速センサによって検出される車速が規定値以下である場合には、変速段を前記後進段に切り替え、
前記入力軸の回転数の規定値は、0またはそれに近い微小値であり、
車速の前記規定値は、シフトポジションがドライブに切り替えられても変速段として前記前進最低速段が選択される車速である
ことを特徴とする車両用自動変速機の制御装置。 - シフトポジションを検出するシフトポジション検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記シフトポジション検出手段がニュートラルを検出すると、前記リバース準備処理を実行することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用自動変速機の制御装置。 - 前記所定の係合機構は、油圧の供給を受けて係合する油圧式係合機構であって、
前記制御手段は、前記シフトポジション検出手段がニュートラルを検出すると、前記所定の係合機構への油圧の供給を開始することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用自動変速機の制御装置。
