Description
図1は、本実施形態のタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図が示されている。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、乗用車用の空気入りタイヤとして構成される。但し、本発明は、このような態様に限定されるものではない。
リム:15×6.0
タイヤ内圧:200kPa
テスト車両:排気量2000cc、前輪駆動車
タイヤ装着位置:全輪
上記テスト車両でドライ状態の舗装路を走行したときの操縦安定性(旋回時の初期応答性を含む)が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、操縦安定性が優れていることを示す。
摩耗エネルギー測定装置が用いられ、外側ショルダー陸部の摩耗エネルギーが測定された。結果は、比較例の前記摩耗エネルギーを100とする指数であり、数値が小さい程、摩耗エネルギーが小さく、耐偏摩耗性能に優れていることを示す。
テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (7)
- 車両への装着の向きが指定されたトレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部は、
車両装着時に車両外側に位置する外側トレッド端と、
車両装着時に車両内側に位置する内側トレッド端と、
前記外側トレッド端とタイヤ赤道との間でタイヤ周方向に連続して延びる第1クラウン主溝と、
前記第1クラウン主溝よりも前記内側トレッド端側でタイヤ周方向に連続して延びる第2クラウン主溝と、
前記第1クラウン主溝及び前記第2クラウン主溝に区分された3つの陸部とを有し、
前記陸部は、前記外側トレッド端と前記第1クラウン主溝との間に区分された外側ショルダー陸部を含み、
前記外側ショルダー陸部は、前記3つの陸部の内、最も大きいタイヤ軸方向の幅を有し、
前記外側ショルダー陸部には、前記外側トレッド端から延びかつ前記外側ショルダー陸部内で途切れる外側ショルダー横溝と、前記第1クラウン主溝から延びかつ前記外側ショルダー陸部内で途切れる外側ショルダーサイプとが設けられている、
タイヤ。 - 前記外側ショルダー横溝及び前記外側ショルダーサイプのそれぞれは、前記外側ショルダー陸部内に途切れ端を有し、
前記外側ショルダーサイプの前記途切れ端は、前記外側ショルダー横溝の前記途切れ端よりもタイヤ軸方向外側に位置している、請求項1記載のタイヤ。 - 前記外側ショルダー横溝は、前記外側ショルダーサイプの前記途切れ端よりも前記第1クラウン主溝側の内側部を含み、
前記内側部は、タイヤ軸方向内側に向かって深さが漸減している、請求項2記載のタイヤ。 - 前記外側ショルダーサイプは、その最大の深さよりも小さい深さを有する浅底部を有する、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記外側ショルダー横溝は、前記外側ショルダー陸部内に途切れ端を有し、
前記外側ショルダーサイプの前記浅底部のタイヤ軸方向の長さは、前記第1クラウン主溝の溝縁から前記外側ショルダー横溝の前記途切れ端までのタイヤ軸方向の距離よりも大きい、請求項4記載のタイヤ。 - 前記外側ショルダーサイプは、その長さ方向と直交する横断面において、本体部と、前記本体部のタイヤ半径方向外側に配されかつ前記本体部よりも大きい幅を有する広幅部とを含む、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、車両装着時に車両内側に位置する内側トレッド端と、タイヤ赤道と前記外側トレッド端との間の外側トレッド部と、タイヤ赤道と前記内側トレッド端との間の内側トレッド部とを含み、
前記外側トレッド部のランド比は、前記内側トレッド部のランド比よりも大きい、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
