Description
図1には、本実施形態のタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図が示されている。本実施形態のタイヤは、例えば、空気入りタイヤとして構成される。本実施形態では、好ましい態様として、乗用車やSUVに装着が意図されたオールシーズンタイヤが示されている。
テスト車両:排気量3600cc、四輪駆動車
テストタイヤ装着位置:全輪
リム:18×7.5J
タイヤ内圧:240kPa
上記テスト車両で雪路を走行したときの走行性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、雪上性能が優れていることを示す。
上記テスト車両でドライ状態の舗装路を走行したときの操縦安定性が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、操縦安定性が優れていることを示す。
テストの結果が表1に示される。

Claims (6)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部には、2つのミドル陸部がタイヤ赤道を挟むように設けられ、
前記2つのミドル陸部のそれぞれには、
前記ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の一方側の端である第1端から延びかつ前記ミドル陸部内に途切れ端を有する複数のラグ溝と、
タイヤ周方向で隣接する前記ラグ溝間をタイヤ周方向に延びる第1サイプと、
前記第1端から前記第1サイプまで延びる第2サイプと、
前記ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の他方側の端である第2端から前記第1サイプまで延びる第3サイプとが設けられ、
前記第3サイプは、前記第2サイプとタイヤ周方向の同じ位置で前記第1サイプに連通しており、
車両装着の向きが指定されることにより、前記トレッド部は、車両装着時に車両外側に位置する外側トレッド端と、車両装着時に車両内側に位置する内側トレッド端とを有し、
前記第1端は、前記ミドル陸部の前記内側トレッド端側の端である、
タイヤ。 - 前記2つのミドル陸部は、前記内側トレッド端とタイヤ赤道との間に位置する内側ミドル陸部と、前記外側トレッド端とタイヤ赤道との間に位置する外側ミドル陸部とを含み、
前記外側ミドル陸部は、前記内側ミドル陸部よりも大きいタイヤ軸方向の幅を有している、請求項1記載のタイヤ。 - 前記外側ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅は、前記内側ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅の1.05~1.10倍である、請求項2記載のタイヤ。
- 前記外側ミドル陸部に配された前記ラグ溝のタイヤ軸方向の長さは、前記内側ミドル陸部に配された前記ラグ溝のタイヤ軸方向の長さよりも大きい、請求項2又は3記載のタイヤ。
- 前記外側ミドル陸部に設けられた前記ラグ溝のタイヤ軸方向の長さの、前記外側ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅に対する寸法比は、前記内側ミドル陸部に設けられた前記ラグ溝のタイヤ軸方向の長さの、前記内側ミドル陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅に対する寸法比の0.95~1.05倍である、請求項2ないし4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、タイヤ赤道と前記外側トレッド端との間に配された外側ショルダー主溝と、前記外側ショルダー主溝と前記外側トレッド端との間の外側ショルダー陸部とを有し、
前記外側ショルダー陸部には、前記外側トレッド端から前記外側ショルダー主溝まで延びる外側ショルダーサイプが設けられ、
前記外側ショルダーサイプは、前記外側ショルダー主溝側の端部と前記外側トレッド端との間で底面が隆起した中間浅底部を有している、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
