人又は動物体の血管内への挿入用のステント構造体(2)を備えたデバイスであって、前記ステント構造体(2)は、血管の内壁と接触する拡張状態と、マイクロカテーテル内に位置するステント構造体を血管内で移動させることができる収縮状態とをとり、前記ステント構造体(2)は、好ましくはその近位端でデリバリー補助手段(3)と接続しており、該デバイス(1)は血管痙縮の治療に用いることができる、デバイス。

前記ステント構造体(2)は、個々の相互連結した支柱、又はメッシュ構造を形成する個々のワイヤからなる、実施形態1に記載のデバイス。

- 血管痙縮の治療に使用するためのデバイスであって、人又は動物体の血管内への挿入用のステント構造体(2)を備え、該ステント構造体(2)は、血管の内壁と接触する拡張状態と、マイクロカテーテル内に位置するステント構造体を血管内で移動させることができる収縮状態とをとり、該ステント構造体(2)は、その近位端でデリバリー補助手段(3)と接続しており、
前記ステント構造体(2)は、近位セクション(7)、中央セクション(8)、及び遠位セクション(9)を有し、前記近位セクション(7)は、ステント構造体(2)がデリバリー補助手段(3)に接続する近位端を包含し、拡張したステント構造体(2)は、前記近位端を除いてその全長にわたり本質的に一定の半径方向力を及ぼし、
拡張したステント構造体(2)が半径方向外側に及ぼす力は5N/mと8N/mの間であり、
前記ステント構造体(2)は、デリバリー補助手段(3)によって血管痙縮が生じている部位に移動され、そこで拡張し、1~10分間その部位に放置され、その後に血管から取り除かれる、デバイス。 - 前記ステント構造体(2)は、相互連結した個々の支柱、又はメッシュ構造を形成する個々のワイヤからなる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステント構造体(2)は、自己拡張型デザインであり、マイクロカテーテルから解放されるとすぐにその拡張状態を自動的にとる、請求項1又は2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステント構造体(2)は、個々の支柱又はワイヤの間に位置する開口部を備え、該開口部は、拡張状態で0.1mmと6mmの間の範囲の内接円径を有する、請求項2又は3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記支柱又はワイヤは、本質的に長方形断面の場合30μmと300μmの間の高さ及び幅を有し、円形断面の場合30μmと300μmの間の範囲の直径を有する、請求項2~4のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- ステント構造体(2)の中心に、近位端及び/又は遠位端において支柱又はワイヤが配置されていない、請求項2~5のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- ステント構造体(2)の中心に、近位端及び/又は遠位端において支柱又はワイヤが配置されている、請求項2~5のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステント構造体(2)の内側に抗血栓形成性コーティングが施されている、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステント構造体(2)の外側に血管弛緩を促進するコーティングが施されている、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ステント構造体(2)は、全体又は部分的に、X線不透過コーティングを備える、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記近位セクション(7)及び遠位セクション(9)における支柱又はワイヤは、中央セクション(8)におけるよりも大きな断面を有する、請求項2~10のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記近位セクション(7)及び遠位セクション(9)における支柱又はワイヤの密度は、中央セクション(8)におけるよりも高い、請求項2~11のいずれか一項に記載のデバイス。
