Description
本発明は、電池モジュールおよびその製造方法に関する。
前記接続部材を前記電池セルの電極端子に加圧する段階と、
前記第1スリットに隣接した前記抵抗溶接部の第1溶接部と第2溶接部に溶接棒をそれぞれ位置させ、前記溶接棒の間で前記電極端子を経由する有効電流を形成して前記抵抗溶接部と前記電極端子とを最初に接合させる段階と、
前記第2スリットに隣接した前記抵抗溶接部の第1溶接部と第2溶接部に溶接棒をそれぞれ位置させ、前記溶接棒の間で前記電極端子を経由する有効電流を形成して前記抵抗溶接部と前記電極端子とを追加的に接合させる段階とを含むことができる。
前記最初に接合させる段階において、前記溶接棒の間には、前記電極端子を経由しない無効電流が追加的に形成され、前記無効電流が前記第1溶接部から前記接続部材の第1スリットの周辺部に沿って前記第2溶接部に通電することができる。

Claims (14)
- 電池セルの両端に位置した電極端子が同一の方向を向くように位置した複数の電池セルが側面方向に配列された状態で、セルフレームに装着されている少なくとも1つの電池セル配列体と、
前記電池セル配列体の上端および/または下端において、前記電池セル配列体の各電池セルの前記電極端子に接合されている複数の接続部材と、
を含んでおり、
前記接続部材は、互いに離隔している少なくとも3つの縦方向スリットと、前記縦方向スリットの少なくとも1つと交差する横方向スリットとが穿孔されている金属プレートであり、
前記接続部材は、前記縦方向スリットの互いに隣接した縦方向スリットの間ごとに設定されている抵抗溶接部を2以上含んでおり、
前記抵抗溶接部はそれぞれ、前記横方向スリットを基準として上部方向の第1溶接部と下部方向の第2溶接部とに区画されており、
前記接続部材は、前記接続部材に設定されている2以上の抵抗溶接部が前記電池セルの電極端子にそれぞれ抵抗溶接された状態で接合されている電池モジュール。 - 前記第1溶接部から前記第2溶接部までの通電経路が前記縦方向スリットに沿って迂回する、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記金属プレートは、
第1素材として銅と、第2素材として亜鉛、ニッケル、アルミニウム、白金、鉛、スズおよびステンレススチールからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの金属との合金を含む、請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記縦方向スリットは、
前記横方向スリットの一側端部に連結されている第1スリットと、
前記横方向スリットの他側端部に連結されている第2スリットと、
前記第1スリットと前記第2スリットとの間で前記横方向スリットを横切る第3スリットと、
を含む、請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第3スリットが前記横方向スリットと垂直をなす、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第3スリットが前記横方向スリットに対して20度~160度の角度をなす、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1スリットと前記第2スリットはそれぞれ、前記横方向スリットと垂直をなす、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1スリットと前記第2スリットはそれぞれ、前記横方向スリットに連結された部位を基準として折曲げられたクサビ形状であり、前記クサビ形状の内角が120度以上180度未満である、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1スリットと前記第2スリットはそれぞれ、平面上に曲線の形態で前記横方向スリットに連結されている、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第3スリットの長さが、前記第1スリットまたは前記第2スリットの長さの100%より大きく130%より小さい、請求項4から9のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは、電極アセンブリと電解液が内蔵された円筒形金属缶に内蔵された状態で、前記円筒形金属缶がトップキャップアセンブリで密閉された構造の円筒形電池セルである、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュールを製造する方法であって、
前記接続部材を前記電池セルの電極端子に加圧する段階と、
第1スリットに隣接した抵抗溶接部の第1溶接部と第2溶接部に溶接棒をそれぞれ位置させ、前記溶接棒の間で前記電極端子を経由する有効電流を形成して前記抵抗溶接部と前記電極端子とを最初に接合させる段階と、
第2スリットに隣接した前記抵抗溶接部の第1溶接部と第2溶接部に溶接棒をそれぞれ位置させ、前記溶接棒の間で前記電極端子を経由する有効電流を形成して前記抵抗溶接部と前記電極端子とを追加的に接合させる段階と、
を含む電池モジュールの製造方法。 - 前記最初に接合させる段階において、前記溶接棒の間には、前記電極端子を経由しない無効電流が追加的に形成され、
前記無効電流が前記第1溶接部から前記接続部材の第1スリットの周辺部に沿って前記第2溶接部に通電する、請求項12に記載の電池モジュールの製造方法。 - 前記追加的に接合させる段階において、前記溶接棒の間には、前記電極端子を経由しない無効電流が追加的に形成され、
前記無効電流が前記第1溶接部から前記接続部材の第3スリットの周辺部に沿って前記第2溶接部に通電し、
前記通電時、前記無効電流が前記最初に接合させる段階で接合された前記電極端子を経由する、請求項12または13に記載の電池モジュールの製造方法。
