Claims (3)
- 円柱型の電池セルを、前記電池セルの中心軸に直交する縦方向と横方向に少なくとも2個ずつ配列し、縦横2列に隣接する都合4個の前記電池セルの端部に設けた電極端子を同一の接続板に接合させ、前記接続板を介して、同一方向に隣接する一対の前記電池セルをそれぞれ並列接続させて電池セルブロックを形成し、且つ、前記電池セルブロック同士を直列接続させるように設けた電池パックにおいて、縦横2列の隣接する前記電池セルをその端部側から視たとき、前記各電池セルの中心軸が平行四辺形の各頂点に位置するように設け、更に、前記接続板の外形を、前記平行四辺形の各辺に沿った平行四辺形状の外形に設け、前記接続板と前記各電池セルとは、対をなす溶接点間での通電によるスポット溶接で接合させ、前記接続板の前記溶接点間の部分には、スポット溶接時の通電の分流を低減させるための切欠部を設け、接続板が有する一対の縦縁と、接続板が有する一対の横縁から切り込んだ各切欠部とを、互いに平行に設け、前記接続板のうち、並列接続される一対の前記電池セルの各溶接箇所と、同じく並列接続される他の一対の前記電池セルの各溶接箇所との間には、溶接時の通電の分流を低減させるための電池セル間切欠部を設けていることを特徴とする電池パック。
- 前記電池セル間切欠部は、前記接続板の外縁から互いに接近する方向にむけて同じだけ切り込んで形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の電池パックを備えたことを特徴とする電動工具。
