Description
また、油圧室は、締結用油圧室と解放用油圧室とを備え、締結用油圧室及び解放用油圧室は、付勢部材と軸方向にオーバーラップする位置且つ径方向に異なる位置に配置されることにより、締結用油圧室及び解放用油圧室を付勢部材と軸方向にオーバーラップさせない場合に比して軸方向にコンパクトに構成することができる。
また、解放用油圧室は、締結用油圧室より外径が小さく形成され、解放用油圧室の外周側に、ピストンに結合されると共に付勢部材による付勢力を受ける付勢受け部材が配設されることにより、締結用油圧室より外径が小さく形成された解放用油圧室の外周側において付勢受け部材をピストンに結合させることができ、解放用油圧室の外周側のスペースを有効に利用することができる。
ブレーキBR2の締結用油圧室61に締結用作動油を供給する締結用供給油路L1とブレーキBR2の解放用油圧室62に解放用作動油を供給する解放用供給油路L2とは、変速機ケース11、ハブ部材20及び油路形成部材70に形成されている。摩擦板40に潤滑用作動油を供給する潤滑用供給油路L3は、変速機ケース11及びハブ部材20に形成されている。
図13は、解放状態にあるブレーキを示す断面図、図14は、接触直前状態にあるブレーキを示す断面図、図15は、ゼロクリアランス状態にあるブレーキを示す断面図、図16は、締結状態にあるブレーキを示す断面図である。図13から図16は、図7に示すブレーキの要部を拡大して示している。

Claims (3)
- 変速機ケース内に配置された複数の摩擦板と、前記複数の摩擦板を締結するピストンと、前記ピストンを付勢する付勢部材と、前記ピストンを付勢する作動油が供給される油圧室とを有する摩擦締結要素を備えた自動変速機であって、
前記油圧室は、前記付勢部材と軸方向にオーバーラップする位置且つ径方向に異なる位置に配置され、
前記油圧室は、前記ピストンを締結方向に付勢する作動油が供給される締結用油圧室と、前記ピストンを挟んで前記締結用油圧室の反対側に配置されて前記ピストンを解放方向に付勢する作動油が供給される解放用油圧室とを備え、
前記締結用油圧室及び前記解放用油圧室は、前記付勢部材と軸方向にオーバーラップする位置且つ径方向に異なる位置に配置され、
前記解放用油圧室は、前記締結用油圧室より外径が小さく形成され、
前記解放用油圧室の外周側に、前記ピストンに結合されると共に前記付勢部材による付勢力を受ける付勢受け部材が配設されている、
ことを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 前記付勢部材は、前記ピストンを締結方向に付勢する付勢部材である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記付勢部材は、前記ピストンに前記複数の摩擦板が解放状態となる解放位置から前記ピストンが前記複数の摩擦板に接触する直前である接触直前位置まで締結方向に付勢力を作用させる第1付勢部材と、前記ピストンに前記解放位置から前記複数の摩擦板がゼロクリアランス状態となるゼロクリアランス位置まで締結方向に付勢力を作用させる第2付勢部材とを備え、
前記第1付勢部材は、前記第2付勢部材より付勢力が大きく設定されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の自動変速機。
