Description
大きすぎて自然には閉じられない、もしくはそうでなければ、治癒しない創傷の部位への陰圧の印加による開放創または慢性創傷の治療は、当該技術分野で周知である。現在当該技術分野で公知の陰圧創傷治療システムは、一般に、創傷の上に液体に対して不透過性のカバーを設置することと、創傷を囲む患者の組織に対してカバーを封止する様々な機構を使用することと、陰圧の領域を創傷の領域におけるカバーの真下に作り出すことによって、陰圧供給源(真空ポンプなど)をカバーに接続することとを伴う。
典型的には、開放腹部に適用される陰圧創傷治療(NPWT)では、疎水性発泡体および/または疎水性器官保護層が下位層として使用される。市販の器官保護層は、RENASYS(登録商標)ブランド下のSmith&Nephew,Inc.およびKinetic Concepts Inc.の両方で販売されている。しかし、当業者により理解されるように、器官保護層(典型的には、フィルム)は、例えば、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリウレタン(エラストラン(登録商標)を含む)、ポリエチレン、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、またはその混合物などのこのセクションまたは本明細書のその他の部分で開示されるいくつかの材料で構成されてもよい。疎水性材料は、陰圧の良好な分配とともに腹部からの液体のための流体経路を提供することを可能にする。

Claims (13)
- 陰圧を使用する創傷部位の治療のためのシステムであって、
前記創傷部位への陰圧の伝達に適した多孔性パッドと、
前記多孔性パッドの下に位置付けられる排水層であって、前記創傷部位から流体を運ぶように構成される、排水層と、
前記多孔性パッドの上に配置されるように構成される、可撓性のドレープと、
陰圧供給源と、
前記陰圧供給源から前記可撓性のドレープに陰圧を伝達するように構成される、導管と、を備え、
前記排水層が親水性発泡体を含み、
前記親水性発泡体が、上部フィルム層と下部フィルム層との間に挟まれ、前記上部フィルム層および前記下部フィルム層が、それらの端で少なくとも部分的に共に溶接され、
前記上部フィルム層および前記下部フィルム層がスポット溶接され、それによって流体チャネルが生成されてなる、システム。 - 前記親水性発泡体が、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
