Description
ポリエーテルケトンケトンと、少なくとも90重量%の濃度を有する硫酸とを混合して紡糸ドープを得て、紡糸口金を通して紡糸ドープを凝固浴中に通過させ、ここで、ポリエーテルケトンケトンは硫酸中で12~22重量%の濃度に溶解される工程を含む、ポリエーテルケトンケトンを含む繊維の製造方法によって解決される。
-A-C(=O)-B-C(=O)- I
-A-C(=O)-D-C(=O)- II
[式中、Aは-Ph-O-Ph-基であり、Phはフェニレン基、好ましくはパラフェニレン基であり、Bは1,4-フェニレン(パラフェニレンとも呼ばれる)であり、Dは1,3-フェニレン(メタフェニレンとも呼ばれる)である]で表される繰り返し単位を含むポリマーとして定義される。-B-C(=O)-基はテレフタル部分(T)とも呼ばれ、-D-C(=O)-基はイソフタル部分(I)とも呼ばれる。
本発明の方法を用いて調製されたPEKK繊維
a)
繊維を、ISO 113に従って5kgの荷重下で380℃にて22cm3/10minのメルトボリュームインデックス、Tg=166℃、Tm=363℃、T/I比=80/20を有するPEKKポリマー(Arkema Franceにより販売されているKepstan 8001)を含む紡糸ドープから紡糸した。
・バックグラウンド領域:2θ範囲11~27°、χ範囲133~227°;
・結晶領域:2θ範囲11~28°、χ範囲79~101°。
繊維を、ISO 113に従って380℃/1kgで5.4cm3/10minのメルトボリュームインデックス、Tg=158℃、Tm=333℃、T/I比=70/30を有するPEKKポリマー(Arkema Franceにより販売されているKepstan 7002 PF)を含む紡糸ドープからサンプル1~3と同様に紡糸した。
溶融物中のPEKKの安定性は、レオロジー測定を使用して上記で説明したように製造されたPEKK繊維について評価した。
溶融紡糸を用いて得られたPEKK繊維
サンプル1で使用したPEKKポリマーを、DSMマイクロコンパウンダーおよびDSM繊維コンディショニングユニットを使用して400℃で溶融紡糸した。
Claims (19)
- ポリエーテルケトンケトンを含む繊維の製造方法であって、
ポリエーテルケトンケトンと、少なくとも90重量%の濃度を有する硫酸とを混合して紡糸ドープを得て、紡糸口金を通して該紡糸ドープを凝固浴中に通過させ、ここで、前記ポリエーテルケトンケトンは硫酸中で12~22重量%の濃度に溶解される工程を含む、方法。 - 前記ポリエーテルケトンケトンが、式Iおよび式II:
-A-C(=O)-B-C(=O)- I
-A-C(=O)-D-C(=O)- II
[式中、Aは-Ph-O-Ph-基であり、Phはフェニレン基であり、Bは1,4-フェニレンであり、Dは1,3-フェニレンである]で表される繰り返し単位を含み、ここで、前記式I:式IIで表される繰り返し単位の比は100:0~0:100である、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記ポリエーテルケトンケトンが、少なくとも295℃の溶融温度Tmを有する、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記繊維を少なくとも1つの加熱工程で150~290℃の範囲の温度に加熱することをさらに含む、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 加熱工程の間、1.5~10の延伸比をもたらす張力を印加する、請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記繊維を第二の加熱工程で150~290℃の範囲の温度に加熱する、請求項4または5記載の方法。
- 第二の加熱工程の間、最大で1.5の繊維の延伸比をもたらす張力を印加する、請求項6記載の方法。
- 凝固後の前記繊維を、最大で11のpHを有する溶液でのみ処理する、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ポリエーテルケトンケトンを含み、かつ繊維の重量を基準にして0.001~5重量%の硫黄含有量を有する繊維。
- 最大で30%の結晶化度を有する、請求項9記載の繊維。
- ASTM D3822-07に準拠して測定して、少なくとも50mN/texの破断靭性を有する、請求項9または10記載の繊維。
- ASTM D3822-07に準拠して測定して、少なくとも100%の破断点伸びを有する、請求項9から11までのいずれか1項記載の繊維。
- ASTM D3822-07に準拠して測定して、少なくとも100J/gの破断引張エネルギーを有する、請求項9から12までのいずれか1項記載の繊維。
- 少なくとも30%の結晶化度を有する、請求項9記載の繊維。
- ASTM D3822-07に準拠して測定して、少なくとも150mN/texの破断靭性を有する、請求項14記載の繊維。
- 請求項9から15までのいずれか1項記載の繊維を含むマルチフィラメント糸。
- 請求項9から15までのいずれか1項記載の繊維および/または請求項16記載のマルチフィラメント糸および少なくとも1種の他の繊維を含むハイブリッド糸。
- 前記少なくとも1種の他の繊維が、炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、およびPEKK以外のポリマーでできた繊維から選択される、請求項17記載のハイブリッド糸。
- 請求項9から15までのいずれか1項記載の繊維、請求項16記載のマルチフィラメント糸、または請求項17もしくは18記載のハイブリッド糸の少なくとも1つを含む複合材料。
