Claims (11)
- 電気車において、電車線から取り込まれ変圧器で降圧された交流電力を、寄生ダイオードを還流ダイオードとして用いる複数のパワー半導体素子のスイッチング制御により直流電力に変換する電力変換装置であって、
前記複数のパワー半導体素子を駆動制御する制御部を有し、
前記制御部は、前記電気車の停車時に、前記スイッチング制御を行わずに前記パワー半導体素子の逆方向に電流を導通させて前記交流電力を直流電力に変換する所定電圧パルスを前記パワー半導体素子に印加する
ことを特徴とする電力変換装置。 - 前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の出力側の正の直流端子及び負の直流端子間に直流ステージコンデンサが接続されており、
前記制御部は、前記直流電力による前記直流ステージコンデンサの充電状態に応じて、前記所定電圧パルスを前記パワー半導体素子に印加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記正の直流端子及び前記負の直流端子間に補助電源装置が接続されており、
前記制御部は、前記直流ステージコンデンサから前記補助電源装置への給電に応じて変化する前記充電状態に応じて、前記所定電圧パルスを前記パワー半導体素子に印加することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記電気車の停車時に、前記スイッチング制御を行う第1のモードから、前記スイッチング制御を行わずに前記パワー半導体素子の逆方向に電流を導通させて前記交流電力を直流電力に変換する第2のモードへモード移行を行い、
現在のモードが前記第2のモードである場合に、前記充電状態に応じて、前記所定電圧パルスを前記パワー半導体素子に印加することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記電力変換装置をオフにした後に前記モード移行を行うことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電力変換装置。
- 前記複数のパワー半導体素子は、第1アーム対をなす第1のパワー半導体素子及び第2のパワー半導体素子と、第2アーム対をなす第3のパワー半導体素子及び第4のパワー半導体素子とを含み、
前記第1のパワー半導体素子及び前記第2のパワー半導体素子の第1接続点が前記変圧器の出力側の一方の交流端子と接続され、
前記第3のパワー半導体素子及び前記第4のパワー半導体素子の第2接続点が前記変圧器の出力側の他方の交流端子と接続され、
前記第1接続点に対して高位側の前記第1のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の出力側の正の直流端子と接続され、前記第1接続点に対して低位側の前記第2のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の出力側の負の直流端子と接続され、
前記第2接続点に対して高位側の前記第3のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記正の直流端子と接続され、前記第2接続点に対して低位側の前記第4のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記負の直流端子と接続され、
前記制御部は、
前記変圧器の出力側の電圧が正かつ前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の直流電圧よりも前記変圧器の出力側の電圧が高い場合に、前記第1のパワー半導体素子及び前記第4のパワー半導体素子に前記所定電圧パルスを印加することを特徴とする請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記変圧器の出力側の電圧が負かつ前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の直流電圧よりも前記変圧器の出力側の電圧の絶対値が高い場合に、前記第2のパワー半導体素子及び前記第3のパワー半導体素子に前記所定電圧パルスを印加することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記複数のパワー半導体素子は、第1アーム対をなすパワー半導体素子群と、前記第1アーム対と直列接続された第2アーム対をなすパワー半導体素子群と、第3アーム対をなすパワー半導体素子群と、前記第3アーム対と直列接続された第4アーム対をなすパワー半導体素子群とを含み、
前記第1アーム対及び前記第2アーム対の第1接続点が前記変圧器の出力側の一方の交流端子と接続され、
前記第3アーム対及び前記第4アーム対の第2接続点が前記変圧器の出力側の他方の交流端子と接続され、
前記第1接続点に対して最も高位側の前記第1アーム対のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の出力側の正の直流端子と接続され、前記第1接続点に対して最も低位側の前記第2アーム対のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の出力側の負の直流端子と接続され、
前記第2接続点に対して最も高位側の前記第3アーム対のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記正の直流端子と接続され、前記第2接続点に対して最も低位側の前記第4アーム対のパワー半導体素子の端子が前記負の直流端子と接続され、
前記制御部は、
前記変圧器の出力側の電圧が正かつ前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の直流電圧よりも前記変圧器の出力側の電圧が高い場合に、前記第1アーム対及び前記第4アーム対のパワー半導体素子群に前記所定電圧パルスを印加することを特徴とする請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記変圧器の出力側の電圧が負かつ前記交流電力を変換した直流電力の直流電圧よりも前記変圧器の出力側の電圧の絶対値が高い場合に、前記第2アーム対及び前記第3アーム対のパワー半導体素子群に前記所定電圧パルスを印加することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記複数のパワー半導体素子は、バンドギャップが所定値以上のワイドバンドギャップ半導体であることを特徴とする請求項1~9の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。
- 電気車において、電車線から取り込まれ変圧器で降圧された交流電力を、寄生ダイオードを還流ダイオードとして用いる複数のパワー半導体素子のスイッチング制御により直流電力に変換する電力変換装置が行う電力変換方法であって、
前記電力変換装置は、前記複数のパワー半導体素子を駆動制御する制御部を有し、
前記制御部が、前記電気車の停車時に、前記スイッチング制御を行わずに前記パワー半導体素子の逆方向に電流を導通させて前記交流電力を直流電力に変換する所定電圧パルスを前記パワー半導体素子に印加する
ことを特徴とする電力変換方法。
