Description
本発明の第1の側面によれば、アイスバスは、コンテナと、コンテナ内の液体を氷に変える冷却コイルと、分配のためにアイスバスによって冷却される液体を運ぶパイプと、氷の厚さを測定するための少なくとも3つの導電性プローブとを含むものであって、導電性プローブが、冷却コイルと分配される液体を運ぶパイプとの間に配され、第1の導電性プローブが、少なくとも第2および第3の導電性プローブよりも冷却コイルの近くに配され、これにより前記第2および第3の導電性プローブが、第1の導電性プローブよりもパイプの近くに配される。
よって各プローブは電極として機能する。
本発明の実施の形態には、アジテータが存在してもよいししなくてもよい。
Claims (11)
- コンテナと、前記コンテナ内の液体を氷に変える冷却コイルと、分配のためにアイスバスによって冷却される液体を運ぶパイプと、氷の厚さを測定するための少なくとも3つの導電性プローブとを含むアイスバスであって、前記導電性プローブが、前記冷却コイルと分配される液体を運ぶ前記パイプとの間に配され、第1の導電性プローブが、少なくとも第2および第3の導電性プローブよりも前記冷却コイルの近くに配され、これにより前記第2および第3の導電性プローブが、前記第1の導電性プローブよりも前記パイプの近くに配され、ここで前記第2および第3の導電性プローブは前記冷却コイルから等距離であって、
前記第1の導電性プローブと前記第2の導電性プローブ、前記第1の導電性プローブと前記第3の導電性プローブ、前記第2の導電性プローブと前記第3の導電性プローブの間のコンダクタンスを測定する手段をさらに含むアイスバス。 - 3つの導電性プローブが設けられ、うち1つが前記第2および第3の導電性プローブよりも前記冷却コイルの近くにある請求項1記載のアイスバス。
- 前記コンテナは側壁を有し、前記冷却コイルは、分配される液体を運ぶ前記パイプよりも前記側壁の近くにあり、前記導電性プローブは、前記冷却コイルと前記パイプの間に設置されている請求項1または2に記載のアイスバス。
- 前記パイプはコイル状に設けられている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のアイスバス。
- 前記第2および第3の導電性プローブは、分配される液体を運ぶ前記パイプからも等距離である請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のアイスバス。
- 4つ以上の導電性プローブを有し、前記導電性プローブのうち少なくとも1つが、他の導電性プローブの少なくともいくつかより前記冷却コイルに近い請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のアイスバス。
- コンダクタンスを測定する前記手段が、各ペアの導電性プローブ間のコンダクタンスを順に測定すべく配置されている請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のアイスバス。
- 各ペアの導電性プローブ間のコンダクタンスを測定すべく、DC電流がコントローラによって、前記導電性プローブに順に印加される請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載のアイスバス。
- 請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載のアイスバスでの氷の蓄積を測定する方法であって、前記第1の導電性プローブと前記第2の導電性プローブ、前記第1の導電性プローブと前記第3の導電性プローブ、前記第2の導電性プローブと前記第3の導電性プローブの間のコンダクタンスを順に測定し、コンダクタンスの測定値を用いて、氷が前記第1の導電性プローブに到達した時、氷が前記第2および第3の導電性プローブに到達した時、氷が前記第2および第3の導電性プローブから後退し始めた時、のいずれかを特定し、この測定を用いて装置を制御し氷を生じさせる方法。
- 前記冷却コイルから前記第1の導電性プローブまでの厚さの値として最小氷値が定められ、前記第2および第3の導電性プローブの両方までの氷厚さの程度として最大氷値が定められ、前記コンテナ内の前記液体内の氷の量を、前記最小氷値と前記最大氷値の間に維持するように着氷を制御する請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記コンテナ内の液体の全溶解性蒸発残留物を測定するための請求項1ないし8のいずれかに記載のアイスバス装置の使用。
