Description
図1には、本発明の一実施形態を示す自動二輪車用タイヤ1(以下、単に「タイヤ」ということがある。)の正規状態における横断面図が示されている。図2は、タイヤ1のトレッド部2のトレッドパターンを示す展開図である。図1は、図2のA−A線断面図である。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、サーキット走行向けの後輪タイヤとして好適に用いられる。
テスト車両:排気量1000ccの自動二輪車
タイヤサイズ:180/55ZR17
リムサイズ:MT5.50×17
内圧:290kPa
テスト方法は以下の通りである。
各テストタイヤを装着した車両でドライ路面のサーキットコースを走行したときの初期ロール特性、中・終期ロール特性が、運転者の官能により評価された。初期ロール特性は、キャンバー角が0°から、最大キャンバー角の30%以下の間のロール特性である。中・終期ロール特性は、キャンバー角が、最大キャンバー角の30%よりも大きい旋回時のロール特性である。結果は、それぞれ、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、各指標が優れていることを示す。
ウェット状態のサーキットコースを走行したときのウェット性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例のタイヤのウェット性能を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、ウェット性能が優れていることを示す。
テスト結果が表1に示される。

Claims (14)
- トレッド部の接地面がタイヤ半径方向外側に凸で円弧状に湾曲している自動二輪車用タイヤであって、
前記トレッド部には、タイヤ赤道と第1トレッド端との間に配された複数の傾斜主溝と、前記傾斜主溝よりも小さい溝幅の複数の副溝とが設けられ、
前記傾斜主溝は、タイヤ赤道側の一端からタイヤ周方向の一方側に向かって第1トレッド端側に傾斜して他端まで延びる内側主溝を含み、かつ、タイヤ赤道と前記内側主溝の前記一端との間には、他の溝が配されておらず、
前記副溝は、前記内側主溝からタイヤ赤道側に向かって前記内側主溝とは逆向きに傾斜して延び、かつ、タイヤ赤道の側で他の溝と連なることなく途切れる第1副溝を含み、
前記第1副溝のタイヤ周方向の長さは、前記内側主溝のタイヤ周方向の長さよりも大きい、
自動二輪車用タイヤ。 - 前記トレッド部は、タイヤ回転方向が指定され、
前記内側主溝は前記一端から前記タイヤ回転方向の先着側に向かって第1トレッド端側に傾斜している、請求項1記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。 - 前記副溝は、前記内側主溝から前記第1トレッド端側に向かって前記第1副溝と同じ向きに傾斜してのびる第2副溝を含む、請求項1又は2記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第1副溝及び前記第2副溝は、それぞれ、前記内側主溝のタイヤ軸方向の中心位置よりも前記第1トレッド端側の領域に連なっている、請求項3記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第1副溝は、前記第2副溝よりもタイヤ周方向に対する角度が小さい部分を含む、請求項3又は4記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第2副溝は、前記内側主溝を介して前記第1副溝と滑らかに連続している、請求項3乃至5のいずれかに自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第1副溝のタイヤ赤道側の端から前記第2副溝の前記第1トレッド端側の端までのタイヤ周方向の距離は、前記内側主溝のタイヤ周方向の長さよりも大きい、請求項3乃至6のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第1副溝は、0.3〜1.5mmの溝幅を有する、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第1副溝は、0.2〜1.5mmの溝深さを有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記傾斜主溝は、前記第1副溝の前記第1トレッド端側に配されかつ前記内側主溝とは逆向きに傾斜する外側主溝を含む、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、タイヤ回転方向が指定され、
前記第1副溝のタイヤ赤道側の一端は、前記外側主溝のタイヤ赤道側の一端よりも前記タイヤ回転方向の先着側に位置している、請求項10記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。 - 前記外側主溝は、前記内側主溝を長さ方向に延長した領域と交わる、請求項10又は11記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記副溝は、前記内側主溝と前記外側主溝との間で前記第1副溝と同じ向きに傾斜してのびる部分を有する第3副溝を含む、請求項10乃至12のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
- 前記第1副溝は、第1部分と、タイヤ周方向に対して前記第1部分よりも大きい角度で傾斜する第2部分とを含む、請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
