Description
図1は、本開示の実施の形態1に係る壁面吸着走行装置の概略的斜視図である。図2は、壁面吸着走行装置の下面図である。なお、図に示すX−Y−Z直交座標系は、本開示の理解を助けるものであって、本開示を限定するものではない。
図6および図7は、本実施の形態2に係る壁面吸着走行装置の断面図および下面図である。なお、上述の実施の形態1の構成要素と実質的に同一の本実施の形態2の構成要素には、同一の符号が付されている。したがって、実施の形態1と異なる点を中心に、本実施の形態2の説明を行う。

Claims (3)
- 壁面に吸着しつつ前記壁面上を走行可能な壁面吸着走行装置であって、
前記壁面に対向する凹部状の複数の減圧室と、
前記複数の減圧室それぞれに連通する共通の中間室と、
前記中間室の空気を吸引して前記中間室を減圧する吸引装置と、
前記複数の減圧室と前記中間室とを、それぞれ連通する複数の主連通部と、
前記複数の減圧室と前記中間室とを、それぞれ連通する複数の補助連通部と、
前記複数の主連通部の開口に、それぞれ対向配置された複数の弁体と、を有し、
前記複数の補助連通部の開口面積は、前記複数の主連通部の開口面積よりもそれぞれ小さく、
前記複数の減圧室の中の減圧室の圧力が壁面吸着時の圧力に比べて高くなると、前記減圧室と前記中間室との間の差圧により、前記複数の弁体の中の弁体が前記複数の主連通部の中の主連通部の開口を閉じ、
前記壁面吸着走行装置は、前記複数の減圧室および前記複数の主連通部を備える移動可能な複数の吸着ユニットを有し、
前記複数の主連通部は、前記中間室に進入しており、
前記複数の弁体が、前記中間室に配置され、
前記減圧室の圧力が壁面吸着時の圧力に比べて高くなると、前記減圧室と前記中間室との間の差圧によって前記複数の吸着ユニットの中の吸着ユニットが前記弁体に向かって移動し、前記弁体が前記主連通部の開口を閉じる、壁面吸着走行装置。 - 前記吸着ユニットを前記弁体に向かって付勢する付勢部材を有する、請求項1に記載の壁面吸着走行装置。
- 前記付勢部材が、弾性材料から作製され、前記壁面と接触する環状のシール部材である、請求項2に記載の壁面吸着走行装置。
